Can I confirm that an external audio signal can come in through the CV in jack? Seems like a bad idea?! :despair:
Well, as stated before, the user manual states that the left channel (tip) is unipolar +-5v scaled down to +-3.3v.

Re: 73-75 interference

I also got the factory built voice panel, but have zero problems. Have you contacted Jon a k a THC?

The fine-tune feature is actually by design I think.

A pity that the LPGs does not respond at all like vactrol-based LPGs like the Buchla 292 where you can excite it just by sending it a short click...but I guess that's not what to expect for this price.

More small discoveries: The preset connected pink noise can be used as audio source by patching the audio input to the audio input of the second LPG or directly to the reverb input. It’s not ideal since the noise is mixed with interference from among other the oscillator, but interesting for drones....

I like the way they have ORANGE and BROWN as voltages... or are those colored noise? Anything else interesting, like clocking on the Space Out? Brown and orange was the summer/speaker connection that I unsoldered in order to tear it down properly. No ”clock in” since the reverb is part of the same ...

Well, the user manual states that the left channel (tip) is unipolar +-5v scaled down to +-3.3v. Right channel (ring) expects a 0 to +6v, 1v per octave pitch control signal.

Realized today that I can patch an external audio signal in through the CV in jack on the Volca Modular. Its reverb sound great on DR-110 drums! :)

Could I please have a link to more info or could I ask for a pic or two? I'd love to add that as I am switching to CV/eurorack only and would love to not have to re-purchase a midi keyboard just for duophony. Thanks! Sorry, I dont seem to have taken any photos when I did the mod and unfort...

I’ve added an extra jack for CV2 out for the extra CV-offset sent to VCO2 when playing duophonic. This signal is found in the connector between the CPU and analogue card. Works great and allowing me true duophonic performance on my TTSH. Works over midi also of course. :)

Also, window seem to be just a comparator that look at attack-decay waveform above a certain level - then output a high when above that level.

Serge 73 CYCLE & START jacks do the same thing. There may have been two just to make live patching easier. Looking at the schematics in the 73-75 build instructions it certainly looks this way: http://www.73-75.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/73-75-build-instructions-4.pdf And double-checking built ...

I’m not sure you’re pointing to the right pad in your picture, but it’s hard to tell. I used a DSO nano scope to calibrate my 73-75 DIY panels but cannot recall any details that stod out as ”wrong instructions”.

Yes, this correct - holes make the trimpots available from the other side.

Do any of the parts in the DIY panels actually make use of the +6V power supply line? Loads! Check the images of the stuffed PCBs on the 73-75 page. Any module with a green wire on it is using +6V. Did this little mod to my TTSH in order to being able to externally clock the electronic switch that orginally is pre-wired to internal clock: desoldered the junction between R375 (10k) and R376 (22k) and connected them to point 18 on the normalised jack for clock in. In this way I'm able to externa...
