Mostly made with modular + pedals. I used quite a bit of (Euro-)Sergian te...

Re: Awesome work! Very nice textures and atmosphere. Dis

Awesome work! Very nice textures and atmosphere. Did you use the 4ms DLD here too? How do you like for looping? I am asking because I play harsh noise with modular and someone close to my city is selling this module for a nice price, but I am still in doubt if it can be useful for the kind of sound...

Re: EuroSerge setup, heavy electronics...

Another heavy electronics piece, with patches inspired by a Sergian approach. Mostly two VCSs as oscillators, Sport Modulator generating quasi-random CV, and ResEq with a lot of feedback. Then glued together via Korgasmatron for some saturated feel. https://soundcloud.com/naxalprotocol/inutile-specie

I may be going out on a limb here but In my recollection the XV-5080 was a totally different beast from the JD-800 ( or JD-990 rack version) and came quite a bit later. To me, it's closer to the XP-50 / 80 sound and uses the same SR-JV80 sound expansion boards and also the newer SRX series. Like I ...

Do eye hear some girl in there on the venice field recordings? field recordings are those shimmery things in the background...the vocal sample, that's from some interview about naxals iirc. sitting on my hard drive for years, waiting to be used. good "throbby" noise track almost sounds like old ms2...

Can you tell exactly the modules you used and some general patch notes? The korgasmatron is in my want list for while. Thanks So, one line (buzzing quasi-rhythmic line in the background) is (iirc) a saw wave, through all the sections of the Random Source TWS, which in turn are modulated by two VCSs...

EuroSerge setup, heavy electronics...

http://soundcloud.com/naxalprotocol/blackwaters An experiment with the new sergian setup (but a lot of Korgasmatron too, otherwise it does not sound like "European heavy electronics", right?). Patch notes (for what I can recall) upon request. In the meantime, I take the opportunity to remind you th...

Hi...sorry if this has been covered in another thread..but I couldn’t find it. Thanks for the feedback. Interesting. “noise artists” on one hand and “acousmatic artists” on the other. Prejudices? All the sufficiently smart noisemakers I know also enjoy acousmatics; not sure whether acousmatics artists respect noise that much, some for sure do. PE??? What?! PE= power electroni...

Re: minimal bleeps n bloops - or?

Now I want you to tell me, please. Does this track belong in the noise section? Probably I just want help to describe what I’m doing. For now let's call it "minimal bleeps and bloops". Nice one, more straight forward than some other stuff of yours. But I'm a simple guy, I like straight forward synth ripping sounds. Funnily enough, this is some of the most technically convoluted stuff I've ever made. The 5-tuplets stuff, with its precarious feel, for instance was a bit of a pain t...
