Very cool, but not for that price. Agreed. Like it a lot in looks and concept, hopefully sound. But 2.5k for a mono is a lot. Especially when you can get synth like craftsynth 2.0 from modal that cost 120, and are really amazing sounding and feature rich. Yes I know not the same. But proportionally...

I think it's pretty easy to use, if your familiar with synths. If I had no other synths. I think for the money, considering the sound quality and variety of different timbres available. Arp. Programme Arp. Spread chords etc It's exceptionally good. And would make a great hardware start. I really rea...

Tried and not enjoyed - MXR Dist + Big Muff Those are both very popular choices though 8-) Yes, and why I bought both, I just didnt like either. Too often people assume something is good as everyone else says so. Hopefully I can aid someone else who also trys either of these undoubted classic favou...

Agree springs are great. I have a particular favourite which is a old Aria Locobox with Analog delay built in too. Nice on synth. Boss RRV-10 12 bit digital. Great for synth and drums. Just reminiscent of lots of records I love too. Ensoniq DP4 Got a certain quality to them, not sure how to describe...

Yeah agreed. I also have to say that owned the k station and original basstation. They were both sold. Poor machines. Don't look at the BS2 in the same way. It's a great little synth. I own a few classics odyseey, sh101, sh1000, Josh 700s, Roland 101 and 102. I firmly believe that the BS2 is in the ...

Genelec 8040 DDA interface Feel it's worth saying that I spent a long time with Spirit absolute 2s and a Yamaha 01v and produced a lot of good stuff with that set up I feel the eq and summing of the DDA are a cut above the 01V. And the 8040s give better low but I really knew the ab 2s and loved the ...

I would just like to say that the BS2 is the best modern mono I have played . I think it is an amazing little synth. I own many other classic monos and this is just as good in its own way as any of them.

LOVE IT

Regardless of your political views on behringher. he is a great player with feel and appriciation for using a synth as a real instrument. I for one really appriciate it when players such as moot demo gear as it shows it in a context i might use it, as opposed to non musical fm or drone type patches....

The 707 is a great drum machine. Plain and simple. The BD cuts through and sits in a mix perfectly. There are no sounds on the 707 that aren't usable. It is indeed a classic, used on a ton of influential House and Acid House records. People need to get off the analogue thing. It isn't the end all b...

I'm just poking around for insight into synths that feel great as instruments, that are like a great guitar or drum machine. When you play with an instrument and it feels right and you turn to it time and time again, and it delivers. As previous posters have said, it maybe pointless, but not to me. ...

Poly six is looking like the one. Trying to find one at the right money in good condition. It looks like it will fit right in. Has that natural playable extension of your creativity vibe. Judging purely on videos mind, and the number of recommendations on this thread. Still I think it's front runner.

I have a TX81Z and a TG33 they are both great synths.

Had a TG500, never liked it. It's a totally different sound and engine.

I particularly like to run the TG33 through the moogerfooger filter pedal for loads of great tones.
