Re: What is it about the musical genre "noise" that you find appealing?

I am listening and playing harsh noise for years. In my opinion there is no genre in music more subjective than this. Noise is more a physical and psychologic experience than regular music. Just listen all those frequencies traveling around your brain and body is something really hard to explain. It...

If you really wanna go harsh with euro I suggest you to get a pedal interface
, like ph Inout, sgb or pedal integrator. Distortion and fuzz pedals can make any euro vcos, with the right modulation, sounds like a destruction havoc.

Persepolis is a masterpiece, specially for those who are interested in noise music. It is very intense and “organic” listen experience. Actually this is one of my favorite noise records.

This is very sad. His experimental records are masterpieces and have a huge influence on me, so is "The Electrician", one of the best songs ever written.

Because we are talking about Trogotronic gear I have a question, if somebody can help: I have the tabletop/standalone version of 666, the module version is similar in sounds and controllers (except the cv)? I am asking this question because I have both versions of the 4ms noise swash (standalone and...

I am into euro harsh noise style. I use pedals with addacc a integrator, my favorites are Dod buzz box, boss od3 and ibanez de7 delay. Thinking about replace the ibanez for the digitech obscura because it has more options.

Definitely pedals are an option, actually at this time more than modules, because my case is full and i have a ADDAC pedal integrator there. I will check the Line6 M5 but recently the Way Huge Ring Worm pedal got my attention. Too bad the most videos i found in the net are with guitars, not many wit...

Awesome work! Very nice textures and atmosphere. Did you use the 4ms DLD here too? How do you like for looping? I am asking because I play harsh noise with modular and someone close to my city is selling this module for a nice price, but I am still in doubt if it can be useful for the kind of sounds...

Mixing "inside the audio interface" with software

I want to know you guys opinion about use an audio interface with 4 inputs to mix sounds coming from an eurorack system (from 4 vcas) and sounds coming from a computer in a live concert. For example i use the software ppooll to play samples and mix it with my eurorack. No hardware mixer involved. Is...

Thanks a lot for all the info and the audio/video demos. It helps a lot to have more clear idea about what e340 is capable of. Indeed the e352 is a beast, the problem is space in my case + enough money in my account for it.

Cloud Generator e340 drone

I am interested to get a new vco for dark and heavy drones. Right now I have Cyclebox, Piston Honda mkii, DPO, Clouds and PM DNA, all of them are nice for drones, but the e340, at least in theory, looks great for that "angry hive of bees" sound I am looking for. The problem is that all the demos I f...

Very nice sounds, as usually. I like a lot to listen the Naxal Protocol stuff because its great and also kind of rare to see a modular well used for harsh/power electronic music. Unfortunately the most modular music around, in my opinion, is just techno or boring blips and blops (ok, there is some n...

Colourloss I am sorry if you felt offended. Actually I was just trying to help yo...
