259r with unstable frequency

Hi all, I have a strange problem with my 259r. The principal oscillator is very unstable. If I have nothing modulating it, it still keeps going up and down a semitone or so in a random seeming pattern. Sometimes it quiets down for a short while, then starts behaving erratically. It does this even wh...

Re: Buchla Easel Command Module 208C

Does anyone here use a 208C in a 200e system? Does the 208C work well with MIDI from the 225e? Does it track well with 225e cv outputs?

Somehow I feel like it would be a nice addition to my small, portable 200e system. Either as a stand alone voice or as part of the whole.

Re: Doing It - Next Level Bass Controlled Synth Rig

Dilibob, no need to go Alembic (and I say this as an Alembic player), look at Cycfi with their per string pickups. Interesting concept.

Re: Doing It - Next Level Bass Controlled Synth Rig

Deltaphoenix that is so cool! :hail: I have been quite happy using a SoniSmith Convertor+ to control my 5U synth, but no Midi. I will be getting their new eurorack version and the Midi module when they come out. It is simple, just a mono synth, but I am a simple bassist. With the Midi I am hoping to...

Oh wow. I’ve been too busy to notice that this came out. Need to start listening. So much there. And, like Chaotic, I am honored to be a part of this.

Re: 225e and MIDI CCs fun!

And since this has been dug up, 225e combined with the Sensel Morph is even more enjoyable to play than Lemur. The rubbery feel instead of glass is so nice for touch.

(The Morph requires a usb to midi host, like the Kenton, to work with the 225e.)

Wow! Very interesting piece and the video was of phenomenal quality, even on a small screen. Thank you for posting it. I will be re-listening to it in the coming days. The timbres of the beginning grabbed me right away!

I too would like to hear about the coming preset functionality. A 208C would be a fantastic part for my small 200e system, if the presets somehow easily work together. One can dream.

I received this some time ago and at first thought it bland. But, for some reason, I kept returning. It has really opened up with a few listens. Many layers and interesting sounds. Leaves one in a good mood after listening. Glad I gave it a repeat spin and kept on listening. Hazel is my favorite. Ch...

I ran into this on the Internet: https://www.rorguitars.com/products/expressiv-midi-bass It seems like a different idea from the wired frets the Peavey et. al. basses. Not cheap either. Anyway, I have had pretty good results with having a Roland hex-pickup on the 6 highest strings of the NS/Stick. C...

Thank you all for digging these up!
