I've been making a lot of music...

I'm not as active here as I once was, and that's ok. However, I have been active with music making. Ever since we moved into our new home last fall, I've made 5 new albums :woah:  They are available on all streaming platforms (Bandcamp coming). I'm extremely proud of my latest, Idmisms Give i...

i use session view to capture almost everything, not unlike the way indifference point mentioned. i then build scenes into deconstructed song pieces. before i had PUSH, i set my default set to have QWERTY keys assigned to scenes. i then play through scenes as if i'm performing live, and capture that...

adding a patchbay to a mixer/interface setup is something people often overlook. i have a behringer UFX 1604 + a 48 point patchbay. all 16 channels are directly connected to the patchbay and then the rest of my gear fills out the patchbay. you can override anything whenever you need to. dedicated ch...

[And what do you think would be better? i'm not proposing something else is or should be better, but i am personally just not happy that this is real. the original fenix's were, and should remain be banana jacks. the layout is AWFUL. it seems like the hipster's remix rather than an evolution for it...

I'm looking forward to seeing progress on the TiNRS Fenix IV. Seems they will be bringing a prototype http://www2.thisisnotrocketscience.nl/fenix-iv/ even though officially endorsed, not looking forward to this being real. definitely takes away from the magic the Fenix has. the layout could definit...

Anything like that plugged into your modular? This + what kind of connection is between your setup and monitors? using balanced for audio outpu...

Plus, the command stations are wat overrkill if you're using the Electribe as there are meant to be the center of a studio and offer up to 32 sequencer tracks, iirc.

I love my Proteus. Every sound in this track started on the Proteus except the drums :

Can save a few bucks and get a Proteus 2000. I love mine. Not desktop unless you find the Proteus command station. The command stations tend to ask for more than the standard racks.

You have a Fenix ii! I can’t wait for the new Fenix and am on the list.... Cwejman is easy - at retail it’s real bargain. Simple. Outside of that it’s a crapshoot. If you wanna pay a above retail go ahead but know there are now real options if you look Yeah brother! I got mine in a few years back (...

My original thought behind this post was a tongue in cheek commentary on how insane the second hand market can be (and that I don't have any more to sell at these crazy high prices :hihi:). Is cwejman rare? Kinda. Rare enough to skyrocket in price? I personally don't think so. My Fenix 2 sounds bett...

I've built a few cases out if acrylic. I typically used 3/16" or 1/4" thickness and would laser cut everything. That works the best IMO. I'll try to find some old pics - they're probably on here somewhere.

you get a 4hp blank (or cut a piece of thick paper or something) and buy nothing.

Your answer shall reveal itself in time if you stick with it.

Your system looks great as it is.
