Re: Battle of the modern day 2018/2019 sequencer

The Vector sequencer is ace. Easily my favorite euro sequencer, and I've had them all.

Great selections here, but nobody has mentioned Tangerine Dream's Love on a Real Train yet?
I was gonna say that one as well. Absolute anthem!

Speaking of anthems.

Re: Tasty Chips ECR-1 Convolution Reverb

Here's a zip with the impulse responses. I found them somewhere online once upon a time, haven't been able to retrace where - so not trying to take any credit for any of these. :)

Have there been any fixes or further insights into this issue?
I'd also like to know this. Been eyeing one for a while, but won't get it if it clicks like that.

Re: Audio visualizer or video synth app for iPad?

Looom is great for animations. Glitchclip is really cool for experimenting with effects and stuff on videos, kind of VJ friendly, not really "synth" though: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/glitch-clip-vj-for-everyone/id1487987092 Lumen is cool if you have a Mac: https://lumen-app.com/ There's also thi...

Re: quad operator bank by humble audio

Can you effectively control the pitch of each operator with the ratio cv inputs? Asking whether this can double as a quad oscillator bank. Apologies if this has already been asked. Yes. https://humble.audio/products/quad-operator "Each operator can also be unlocked then tuned and patched independen...

Re: Tasty Chips ECR-1 Convolution Reverb

Got this bad boy today finally. It sounds excellent. Brief demo here. I first recorded a demo that I really liked, but it had lots of audio dropouts due to something with my computer, so had to do another recording, and this one wasn't quite as good. I've tried to find the more experimental IR's, bu...

Re: Did your Modular Grid go as planned?

I sell and buy stuff like a stock broker, so no, it never goes to plan. The clue is to not plan too much, and never ever expect to have a finished system. This will just continue for as long as you can afford it, haha.

Re: Very Specific Sequencer Question

Just mult the cv to every VCO, and send the gate to a sequential switch, clocked by the sequencer clock. Send one of the outputs from the switch to one of the EGs in the signal path for each VCO-VCF-VCA voice. I think the effect you want is known as 'hocketing'. Ah, yes, hocketing is the word - tha...

Re: Very Specific Sequencer Question

This is all about as clear as mud. Daisuk seems to have something in mind, but I still have no idea what. Let's say you create a melody sequence just using one oscillator, everything routed to cv Lane 1, and gate 1 output of your sequencer. Normal sequencer behavior. Now, by going to step 3 or what...

Re: Very Specific Sequencer Question

I've actually been looking for a sequencer that can do this as well, but with no luck. The Vector can't do it, and no other sequencer that I know of either. Using a matrix switch would possibly be your best bet, although it's going to get finicky.
