sure you could do similar with the serge one, but i sometimes use my buchla 205r matrix mixer by patching oscillators into the inputs, then routing outputs to FM inputs on those oscillators for some insane FM possibilities.

this is a little different, but bandcamp is going to start offering pressing services. you need to get enough people to commit to a purchase before they press, but they take care of the details for you. more:

probably not as sexy as a lot of other stuff on here, but i always really liked the sound of a malekko dual VCA driven hard.

i'm still getting to know my analog heat, but seems pretty versatile

classics are boss DS1 and Big Muff pedals, but haven't used those since i got analog heat

yeah, 3.5mm sometimes take some nudging to get to work. stackables are a little better but still have intermittent drop-outs. i tried to only use stackcables for a while, and building my own modules and never using tini's, but still had issues. so i'm fully back to tini's, some Buchla branded but a ...

you're probably not going to get a spec sheet for the toys that identify speaker impedance, but this will probably work pretty well in most cases:

a recording studio, as much as it can be (aka as much money as you can spend) is a controlled environment. fans and HVAC and whatnot can introduce noise into the environment, indeed, but i think you would have a much harder time hearing these noises outside. outside is much louder (generally) than i...

yeah, looks exactly like my lamond case, which was a DIY "flat pack" deal he had going for a minute.

funny thing is the one closer to the camera appeared to stain it in the same color as me, and using the same mixer as i was for a long time, so for a second i thought the photo was my rig!

i've been doing something similar with DB9 connectors, although premade DB9 cables are a lot less common than DB15 (VGA) cables.

with VGA going the way of the dodo, there are a lot of old VGA cables for cheap/free out there, so the DB15 is probably the better way to go.

I’ve seen him probably 20 times in a bunch of different settings, and while some shows were quiet, I could always hear. by monitor do you mean LCD or audio monitors? the spring tanks are mechanical devices, so if you set them on something that vibrates (like speakers) they will pick it up LCD monitors can cause EMI, and the springs in the tank can essentially act as an antenna, so things like LCDs, power lines, cell ...
