Doepfer attenuators with my Easel?

I'm thinking about putting together a 32hp case with some Doepfer utility modules, primarily passive attenuators. I'm assuming these will be safe to use straight, with my Easel, all I want to do is attenuate the voltage from the Aux Card oscillator, as the sliders on the CV inputs of my Easel don't ...

Easel envelope behaviour?

I've always thought my Easel isn't quite right regarding the way the envelopes behave, the decay, and release controls seem to have an extremely long decay after reaching a certain point, almost turning into a hold function, it's difficult to get really long slow decays and releases after a certain ...

Cant reccomend the Big Sky enough, it's an amazing addition to the Easel, I use an EHX 16 delay into a Big Sky, Ive tried a few other reverbs, but this one really is special.

If you mod it with that diode though you will be able to get full attention. I'm by no means an expert but I'd take a hack at it for price of post, parts and a pint or two! Thanks a lot tIB, that's a very tempting offer, I'll have to think about it. Turning the knobs anti-clockwise into the negativ...

When I turn the light off, it stays off. When you say you are not using memories, do you have any preset manager installed? The point of the remote enable is to be able to switch memories without affecting the knob settings. So, I am guessing it is because you don't have the preset manager on board...

259e Remote Enable?

Iv'e just got a 259e, I'm wondering about the light on the Remote Enable, it's on all the time, when I press the button it goes out for a couple of seconds, then comes back on again. Im not using memories, and don't intend to in the future, but I'm just wondering if this light is supposed to be on a...

I thought I'd covered all this via PM, apologies if not- I commissioned it. Negativespace built it to the specs I asked for at the time. The lower most out is most likely negative (or the main out inverted) - check it using the feedback on the module or with a meter. The audio out on the mixer is m...

According to this post: https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=962656#962656 From the thread I linked above, that is one of the RSFC panels designed for the negativspace PCBs, and if built as intended the two outputs are simply multiples, the black jacks are inputs and the grey jacks are...

Hi, here is my module... https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/userpix2/12795_img_2824_1.jpg As you can see, there are blue and purple CV output jacks, I'm wondering, does the blue only output a pos voltage? and the purple just neg. or does pos/neg come out of both? :hmm: I'm selling it anyway, it's jus...

Thanks folks, I just need to correct the CV outputs on the CVP, I'm a bit confused, the Moog style CVP mixer? is that still a danger to use with audio on E series modules? Also, the CVP has two banana outputs on the attenuation channels, a blue one which is positive I think, and a grey one, which is...

soldering a diode between two jacks is easy, and i do it on my blade adapters to avoid the negative on my e modules from 1/8" to banana. its really easy and cheap. Schottky Diodes can be used as a rectifier. i can take a picture later but its a easy fix. Buying new Buchla modules are expensive. Som...

I don't see what you can do without modifications to the module. Wouldn't you be better off selling it and replacing it with a 256e or 257e if you want everything to be e-safe? Yes, I'm going to sell it, this has been a learning curve, lack of support on the CVP too, non existent as far as I can see.

Negativespace CVP issues.

I've got my boat and I've installed he CVP, however, I'm having big problems keeping voltages positive when using them with 200e modules, I find I can't actually use it as a true attenuator, which is why I bought it, as it's impossible to achieve full attenuation without going negative. Any ideas ab...

Easel i Program card not working.

I can't get my i Parogram card to work, it says it's received the wireless info, but when I try and save a sound I get "cannot communicate with card"
Also, I can't Program the Easel from the card, nothing works.
I've tried re-blinking the card many times, with no succes.

Easel, 200e grounding?

As you know I'm building a little expander boat for my Easel, I've heard that grounding can be an issue using seperate systems, especially the Easel and 200e modules. Could this be a potential problem?

I have an SAModular 18U case. I was having preset lockup problems and a set of Doug's repeaters, moving modules around, and the updated bus boards fixed it. The 260e was the primary culprit for my lockup problems. I don't think I'm going to have any problems really, it's a small boat, and no preset...

Considerable compromises to the system have been made to facilitate the preset manager, not the least of which is you don’t know if the actual knob settings reflect the true value. Also, without the preset manager you will have to hit the memory button for every module if you want to save the state...

yes it is going to be OK. im just saying in order to get all your 200e modules and preset manager to work 100% youre more than likely going to have to troubleshoot something. i know others have had to add bus repeaters or reconfigure their module layout over and over to get everything to work. http...

Thanks folks, I'm only using a 4 space boat consisting of 281/291/259/CVP/267 I'm using a Samomodular 4 space boat. This is primarily an expansion for my Easel.
I'm not using anything to do with the preset manager, so that isnt an issue.
