By the way, as this is Buchla, obviously the ramp cv output would not be required to go from negative to positive, but from zero to positive

Can someone with a 250e help?

This may be a trivial question: Can a 250e produce an “ideal” ramp LFO signal as shown in the attached photo. I guess you would need to use the interpolation function, but I am just wondering if that interpolation results in something more like the shown triangular LFO shape (or even a sine-like sha...

I also started with a 206e, thinking that I would not need midi. However, I sold it to get a 225e. Enabling 200e preset change with a midi program change command from anywhere is a killer feature of the 225e

Beware! I think this listing is fraudulent and I have reported my suspicion to Ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/264115562870?ul_noapp=true It has the exact same characteristics as earlier scams - just saying... My best guess is that some scammer hi-jacked that ebay account. My experience is that some ...

In my Buchla fantasy, they release a sweet 200e filter module with:
  • plenty of cv control options
  • total recall
and finally HPF or multimode including HPF, LPF etc. (yeah it aint gonna happen, I know ...)

I’ve had both and they are both great. To me the tone of the bp filters are identical. I miss the 291e more than the 267e due to the superb morphing sequencer of the 291e. Keep in mind that attenuation of the signal going in to the 291e is often needed to avoid “clipping” noise on the output. Both m...

You're in luck. I just got a mail from Doug Clauder yesterday saying that his 'Control Voltage Slew Processor' is for sale now. His web site is called studiohsoftware.com

Hi guys I haven't been able to search my way to get an answer to the following question: When you store a patch on the E352, does it also store the knob positions? Since it is not specifically mentioned anywhere, I guess the answer is no, but it would indeed be sweet to be able to recall the value o...

Great idea. I would not object if this thread could be kept 200e strictly, and then have clones separately in their own thread(s). I would love to contribute with some 200e stuff, but I can't promise anything.

No. Ideally, 2 devices should have a single point of contact for chassis ground connection - not more not less. However, modular synths are unique beasts in the sense that the whole idea is to connect patch cables all over the place - this is not ideal, but it is ok, because otherwise, modular synth...

In my experience, you'll be fine without using the banana ground jack next to the DC power input, as long as you make sure to have at least one audio patch cable connected between a Buchla module and the external gear. The audio cable connects chassis ground between different devices, just like the...

Another idea. Just unscrew and remount the power board inside the boat so that the power cable can stay connected within the confines of the boat itself. Run the power cable out of the back of the boat (just cut a hole). You’d lose the power switch functionality but could just keep it switched on a...

Still Vactrol in gate mode. really? so how this mode avoid the slow response associated with vactrols and the hi frequency damping? :despair: There's no avoiding of slow response. That's why I sold my 292e. Some people seem to find it musical, when you get e.g. this short "ringing" after closing th...
