Re: Who was / is the sequencer composer ?

Moogy sequencing on CD with a science fiction name and produced five years ago could be cosmic ground. I spent a lot of evenings and car rides to those two albums back then but had them on my old computer/phone. In case it's not what you were looking for, thank you for reminding me... https://cosmic...

1.wav
Try this one - I did some rework on the envelope shapes to have them all starting at 0 V.

Re: Kermit mk III - coming soon

Yes, it's a bit confusing in he beginning, but I found that if you involve your self a bit in self modulation and at the same time restrict your self to ceertain types of modulation and go step wise from there getting familiar with it works quite good. :tu:

Re: The Pickit Thread: Updating Firmware & Burning ROMs

Just purchased a piston Honda mk3, I would like to update it but I’m a bit clueless. As there are no longer any pickit 3 in uk, could I do the update on a pickit 4? I can't provide a firm answer but I don't see why it wouldn't work. Just double-check this will be recognized by MPLAB, and preferably...

Re: NEW from La 67: LR4 VC Crossover

Sounds interesting - doing the same just inverted on a second device would open up nice ways for spectral mixing and crossfading. Signals slowly appearing in the midrange of other signals and finally taking over the whole spectrum...

Re: Piston Honda MKIII dual morphing wavetable oscillator

scott replied to my request and mentioned that they may switch the type of potentiometers for a better feel. so they know about it. I don't want to reach too far but it also somehow implies that it is more a matter of 'feel' or taste than of quality. I like how they feel and soemhow remember readin...

Re: NEW from La 67: LR4 VC Crossover

Yes, that's what I was thinking of. :)

Eliminating a band, patching it into an effect like echo and than slowly 'fade' it in again to let the echo come to full effect.

Hey, looks great! Is it possible to move the crossover points out of the audible range? Like fading in an effect by frequency by moving the upper crossover point down into the actual sound.

Re: piston honda mk3 vs e352

But you can modulate X on OSC 1 and Y on OSC 2 with different CV's. Both, the E352 and the PH have three CV inputs. In the end it's more about the wavetables are organized on both of them.

Re: J.Haible's Living VCO for Eurorack [Build Thread]

The cap did indeed fix the sine wave for me. Unfortunately the other waves are more distorted now. But I am okay with that for now since I like my sines pure but can accept other wave forms to have some character. I'll have a look at it again when I find time to examine why I cannot tune all three o...

Re: O|D ER-301: Sound Computer (Available Now!)

The more you try to do within the ER-301 and think about external controllers, the more Max or Supercollider on a computer would be a viable option too. I know, but I really don't want to deal with a computer. Thanks for the input! Me neither, and I hope it did not came across as the common snarky ...

Re: O|D ER-301: Sound Computer (Available Now!)

I sold my 4ms dual looping delay when I got the ER-301, partly to justify the expense and because the function can easily be done with it. I still miss it for its immediacy - it is just not the same. It might depend on your approach though and how much you want to think things through and program a ...

Re: The Pickit Thread: Updating Firmware & Burning ROMs

Might be a misunderstanding - my request was not about programming the wavetable chip. I know about the orange pinkies but they were sold out when I purchased my DA from AH. I have not found a file of them to copy by now. I have a firmware (.hex) file for the DAv1 that is believed to fix the freezin...

Re: The Pickit Thread: Updating Firmware & Burning ROMs

Has anyone successfully updated a Double Andore MKI? I have the firmware file and according to IME the processor type is dsPIC30F3014. I tried MPLAB X 5 and 4 on El Capitan and Win 10 with a PICkit 3 but can not detect a target. It worked great and seamless with all MKIII modules though. :despair: :...

Re: double andore

I got a Double Andore MKI from Analogue Haven earlier this year and now that I have more time for extended musical experiments I noticed that it would freeze after some time in use. I am only using it in LFO/envelope mode (no audio rates) but it seems that shorter envelopes are a bit more dangerous ...

Re: Kermit mk III - coming soon

Also keep in mind that you can pretty easily design your own wave shapes for Kermit - from simple AD to the most complex shapes and morphing between them brings you nearer towards the capabilities of Zadar and Quadra. It is a bit more work to set everything up though but then the only thing you are ...

I am currently torn between this and a Quadrax and would love some opinions. I make music similar to Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement , Vatican Shadow and hints of DJ Python, Low Jack etc... I have a Zadar, Maths and PNW currently for modulation sources. Drawn to Kermit as it seems to offer more un...

Re: piston honda mk3 vs e352

That is partly right. But on the other hand in most modes you can not morph the same dimension of both E352 outputs anyway - it's either X/Y or Z. And when you use one shape on X or Y and another shape on Z with the PH it would be pretty much the same as with the E352. I am in the less-is-more-boat ...
