Re: New money pit

Once again thank you all. Some great info here. Zymos thank you for the heads up on the Structure. That looks a fantastic bit of kit. But like most good gear not cheap.

Re: DRUMS ONLY albums. (album suggestions and spotify list)

late to this. Terry Bozzio has LOTS of solo and duet cds A number of John Cage pieces Max Neuhaus mostly know for his work with Stockhausen Stockhausen has a number of percussion pieces. Not drums per say but Stockhausen's mikrophonie 1 is a must, one huge ass gong (changed my musical life). Bill Br...

Re: New money pit

Thank you every one for your advice. I think i'm going to preorder a Chromagnon. Maybe a few other things that will pair nicely with Chromagnon as well. one thing I noticed on the Critter & Guitari Eyesy is it has a audio in. the Chromagon does not seem to have one. So, is it nessacary or just nice ...

New money pit

Hello folks, I've recently developed the itch to start experimenting with video synthesis. It's funny what 2+ months of lock down will do to a sick mind. It looks like LZX is the main name in the game, yes? Should I just wait until the Chromagnon is released? It looks to be a semi modular equivalent...

Re: Dumb question regarding Elekton Model:Samples

Thanks for the replies. I just picked up the Model:Samples and I have a Liquid Foam on the way. I'm looking for a way to sync the two together. The Samples only has midi and the L.F. only has clock I/O . Is the SQ 1 my best cheap option? Anything in euro that does not take up much space?

Dumb question regarding Elekton Model:Samples

I just made my first lock down gear purchase. The surprising thing about it was I was not not drunk or high (not a drop or a hit in me at the time.) As the subject states I picked up a Model:Sample. My first bit of Elektron kit. My question is can the 3.5mm midi i/o work as a sync i/o? If not is the...

Re: Behringer System 55

As much as I like the idea of the B55 it makes me think about saving up a bit longer (no small task for impatient me) and buying a smaller Mos-Lab or Moon Module kit. But supper happy the B55 is out there.

Re: Korg Arp 2600 1:1 grey version confirmed by JMJ

Hopefully after they sell all of the limited units they will release a scaled down version. Plastic cace like the Odyssey a soft case again like the Odyssey. I might be able to justify that kind of release.

Re: Korg Arp 2600 1:1 grey version confirmed by JMJ

Looks like we have a price of £3200 I’m assuming that will translate to $3200 US. I’m wondering if that includes a nice case and keyboard? I guess we’ll fine out on Friday. Is there any proof on this price other than what someone said on another forum? That person also said it's limited to 500 unit...

When I had my Easel it came with a little black zippered bag. I put some extra strong velcro on the back of the bag and some on the inside of the lid and it worked fine.

This is a bone head laser question. Will the basic $500 laser from X-Laser do much with the Radiator? It looks like the Radiator would be a fantastic new money pit but will all I get from X-Laser white series be green basic 70's Floyd effects? Thanks

The specs look good except for the one envelope thing. Just odd I guess. As far as the looks I think it's ugly as fuck in a cool kind of way. it looks like a Fisher Price See N Say mated with legos then was DNS spliced with an on old Moog/Realistic synth. :zombie:

I just heard about this, I'm sad as fuck. I loved that growl he had (on bass). I saw him with UK wit and with out Bruford and then setting next to JLR here in Seattle a few years back. But that was just a coincidence, a nice one to be sure.
