Cheers for the info guys.

I will go toggle switch. Takes up less space in my enclosure and easier to wire!

Thanks as always.

Re: Jürgen Haible Krautrock phaser BUILD THREAD

Hey guys So I have finally got to the krautrock phaser in my back log. Seems like a lot to watch out for but with this thread and the LED man site I am ready I intend to but it in a Hammond 1550G enclosure with a Yamaha PA20 as I don’t want to deal with mains power. One question, does anyone have a ...

Re: Project PRO2021 - A Pro-One keyboard synth

So I have most things working and calibrated. The only thing I can’t do is get the audio in to gate the envelopes. The gate in jack does it and when set to external mode this also syncs the LFO (should it be doing that?, not mentioned in manual). When I then plug in an audio signal the audio stops (...

Re: Project PRO2021 - A Pro-One keyboard synth

Finished! and everything works first time. Mine was number 9 of the original 14 (I think) Great synth, amazing build doc, very easy to put together, a serous effort gone into every part of the project. That mod and Pitch wheel? Yum! Wonderful work Devin. If I could describe the synth in 2 words it w...

Re: Project PRO2021 - A Pro-One keyboard synth

Hey guys. So I have got to the audio and MIDI wiring. Nearly there. Just to confirm: For the Audio: I need to get both the Black cable and the shield into one of the molex pins? That will be fun... For the midi: I just leave the shield hanging (not connected) at the PCB end. Cheers as always .

Re: Another little somthing I've been working on: DR110 inspired 6 voice drum module

Looks great.

Who doesn’t need more analog drum machines?

I am out of rack space so may try and fit this into a standalone enclosure.

Look forward to building.

Re: Project PRO2021 - A Pro-One keyboard synth

Kevin, thanks for the very detailed info on matching my own resistors.

But in order to get this synth up and running ASAP I have ordered some of those SMD resistors from Farnell.

Thanks Devin.

Hey guys

What jacks fit the panel PCB?

My PJ301BM fit but the panel holes are too big for them.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Re: Project PRO2021 - A Pro-One keyboard synth

Thanks Nigel.

Time to investigate Wheatstone bridges and get the Old
breadboard out

I didn’t fancy spending big on a new multimeter i would rarely find use for.

My other big job is dremeling off the end of the pots for the knobs

Other than that I think im set.

The PCBs are like a work or art!

Re: Project PRO2021 - A Pro-One keyboard synth

Hey Guys,

I have read through the whole thread but was wondering how people measured the 0.01% resistors?

Wheatstone bridge, fancy multimeter (fluke 85 maybe?) or expensive pre matched from mouser?

I have never had to measure this exact a resistance before.

Thanks as always.

Cheers.

Very informative.

Up to now I have always used solid for everything as it found it easier to work with.

Re: Project PRO2021 - A Pro-One keyboard synth

Hey guys

For all the power related wiring. Are people using solid or stranded core wire?

Or does it not really matter?

Thanks.

Why are there two zero volts?

Hey guys

About to start my 5u system after years in eurorack DIY and have a question.

On the PSU there are 2 zero volts.

0VA and 0VB

Why do we need 2?

Sorry for the silly question it’s just I have not come across this before

Cheers.

Guys Received box no 9 in the post today. To the UK. Wow! The pictures don’t do this justice. The panel looks amazing (and massive, this is no micro brute) the mod wheels almost feel like they should be displayed on a mantle piece rather than wasted in a synth, and all the Components look top notch....

I was waiting until I got my pcbs (in customs) before I ordered parts.

If anyone knows any other sellers that would be great.

I would also like the CPU and knobs shipped together with the PCBs if this is not too much hassle.

It would save a lot on shipping and duty to Europe (I am UK based)
