Re:

So I've got a weird problem with my latest builds :hmm: Everything seems functional except for the fact that the whole machine sounds a few octaves too low. So only the top bit of the pitch slider results in a tone you can hear, the rest is too low in pitch to hear. Got this problem with the latest...

I finished mine quite some time ago... Now in using it i noticed there is something wrong with it. In modes B-E the sound disappears when the tune fader is below 50%. It seems the OSC1 goes sub Audio frequency then I resolderede all the ground solder pads and checked all components. Anywhere else to...

My Diy Lyra-8 seems to pick up a lot of noise from the power supply. Like some High frequency noises. Does anybody else have this too?

I have one but hardly ever use it... The sounds are great but the sequencer is just not really fun to use.
I would love to mod trigger inputs for the sounds.

I have the klik and it's really nice.
But it would be great if it could run it's own tempo.

Could this be added to the firmware. I've read in the manual that th firmware is open source. But i can't find it on the github.

I've changed all the pitch pots from 100k to 50k and I find the lyra-8 a lot more musical and playable like this. It limits the range in the sub sonic terrain of the oscillators but there is still an extreme wide range possible. Especially together with the group pitch pot. I've been wanting to limi...

I've been wanting to limit the range of the of the oscillators to be able to tune them a bit more precise. Looking at the thing it seems there are simple 4093 oscillators at the base of the circuit. I think changing the C100K pots with C50K pots will probably halve the range. Is there anybody that c...

The behavior changed a bit... Maybe it also helped i resoldered a lot of the ground points. Now it works well at startup. But after a short while the sound just gets weaker. Not really softer. For example the noise sounds fine in the beginning but after a while it starts to sound gritty and distort...

I got a diy lyra 8 in a trade and while I like it well enough I've noticed theres a bit of a 60hz hum while playing. Its dead silent if the hold knobs are are turned full counter clockwise and I'm not touching the contacts. Is this normal behavior? What kind of case is it in? Are the special screen...

No there are no schematics... So i'm not sure if there is a control voltage going on. Or if the pot is more directly in the oscillator.

I finally finished my Lyra-8...
It's awesome bit i have one complaint about it.
The range of the individual voices is so large that it's really difficult to tune the voices.
I would like to limit the range of the voices. Does anybody know what i should mod to achieve that?

https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/userpix2/40472_20181028_210056_1.jpg I stuck two of these behind a 12hp panel and am so pleased with it. I enjoy being able to use them seprately and in series. The build was so easy, I ended up doing both these and the panning mixer shown beside it all in an eveni...

I don't know how to DIY them but you are looking to make something like this.

http://www.helpinstill.com/

I'd also like to know what's exactly inside this. I have an autoharp with a electric pickup that just seems to be one very long stretcht loop of wound copper wire.
