I see alot of people kinda critical of this question of wether to have velocity in a eurorack sequencer . of course in theory you can make anything happen in eurorack including a little velocity like effects to your sequence but im afraid alot of you are being a little bit of modular snobs imo . hes...

If i had never qwned or played either of these I would probably agree with most people on here that the mother would be a better starting point , but having played a mother 32 for 30 mins or so in the store im sorry but it didnt really click with me . its nice and all but ive never been into the who...

Ya sorry guys i sad Vulcan shoulda said Dalek lol . Its the best ring mod I've tried so far , even without sending any signals to it just take the output from the ring mod it will default to the internal oscillators , detune the oscillators just slightly - sounds heavenly

modulation delay ?

Whats the best way in eurorack to get delay on a modulation source, like is typically seen on a hardwired synth . Slew limiter? sequential switches? thanks in advance for your replies

How does one start buying a buchla system?

Lately I've been considering getting a Buchla system , a vintage or original system none of the clones or reissues interest me . first off the price is scary , but its also kinda confusing as to which systems are there and how does one go about finding and buying them ? Obviously I'm interested in a...

I agree , Im feeling the same way these days , its almost like the debate over using presets with hardwired synths. Sometimes to me it seems that some peoples eurorack setups are more like a giant pedalboard with different pedals than a true modular synth . Now some peoples pedalboards can sound bet...

Are there still plans for an expander module? It would be great to be able to save samples . Ive been getting some great sounds by triggering with my midi keyboard and while i usually hate presets , with this it would be very useful to save up banks of my own sampled keyboard sounds to play back later

I have both the filter and the oscillator . i like them but they are kinda bread and butter style compared to a lot of euro stuff that tries to get more wild and wacked out . Ive never had a roland modular system but , to me they sound kinda like the sh 101 or the tb 303 , maybe a little more sophis...
