I’ve moved a couple of times since last posting a pic of my studio setup. This is the latest iteration.

Re: Disting EX/FH-2 share MIDI breakout?

One additional question on this topic. Does this mean you could daisy-chain more than one EX off an FH-2 - with a multi-header cable - so they all share a common midi-bus?

FHX-8CV

FHX-8CV modules seem not to be available anywhere. When is the next shipment going out to dealers?

Also - For which use case would you need the FHX-8GT? Presumably the 8CV can generate gate outputs just like any of the 8 standard outs on the FH2. What am I missing?

Thanks!

Re: ACL Sinfonion

Despite the long wait (especially since I had to send the first one back) it feels like the Sinfonion came along just at the right time, as I was beginning with Eurorack... If this is what you have after ‘beginning’ with Eurorack, I can’t wait to see what you come up with when you have your shit to...

Re: ACL Sinfonion

...The final and easiest option that I can think of—the one I suspect most of us turn to—is to just use a good reverb effect to add a long tail to chord voice, so that the reverb rings out even when a new chord is getting started. Thanks for the detailed reply Martin. Much appreciated. The reverb t...

Re: ACL Sinfonion

Just got my Sinfonion this week, watched the vids and read the manual but could do with some guidance. If you wanted to accomplish a slow ambient chordal pad progression driven by the Sinfonion chord sequencer but with soft attacks and blends between each chord change how might you go about setting ...

iOS Development Frameworks

I'm dipping my toes in the water of developing an AudioKit based app for the iPad which would use the ES8 as an interface. Are there any frameworks or libraries available that provide an abstracted API for the ES8 functionality?

Re: ES-8 Input/Output jacks quality

Just received my new ES-8 and was surprised that all of the jacks on the unit, unlike any other mini jacks I have ever used, don't just go in with a "click" but rather multiple crunches like each port is full of broken glass. Add to that, the cords come right out with barely any force and barely pe...

Don't forget about the Doepfer A-111-4 ! It has four CEM-3340 oscillators. It tracks super presize and is also very temperature stable. It is small and very affordable, too, so in fact I'm using two of them at one octave distance for playing my chords. Every of the four voices is doubled up for a n...

Just curious what oscillators/voices you will all be using with it? I have 10 voices I can choose from- 4 Disting mk4s set up as wavetable oscs, a 4 voice BL Poly module, and 2 Plonks. I was going to ask the same question. I also have four Distings that can be called into service but I was thinking...

That’s a great approach. Thanks. I was hoping you could patch it up with just the Metropoli but doesn’t looks like that’s possible.

Appreciate it.

Dual Metropolis

Is it possible to patch two Metropolis sequencers in series to create a 16 step sequence? I understand how the Sync mode works but there does not appear to be a way to trigger run on the second sequencer with a gate pulse from the sync out of the first Metropolis. Run appears only to be triggered wh...

Has anyone had a problem where their RADAR does not initially power up when you power up your case but when you unplug and plug the module into a hot power bus it starts up fine? I just sent mine back for replacement to the good folks at Perfect Circuit. They are replacing it but told me this is a k...

Long time Control customer and have recently bought a bunch of stuff from Jason at Control Voltage and some stuff from PCA. All have been excellent to deal with but I do agree that PCA’s shipping rates seem to be on the high end and shipping times a little longer than the other two.

Have you posted anything audible somewhere with the Schippmann Phaser? I'd love to hear it. Could hardly find anything online. Sadly not. I've been in the middle of a major relocation for the last six months with my modular in packing boxes. Even worse, Goikes shipped me a third set of cases a coup...

The twins work perfectly well vertically mounted - Focal approved. I don't have the horizontal space in my office either. No issues at all in that configuration.
