I'd start it running before i went to bed and check out the results the next morning. Several other weird Max patches i got a...

Another vote for Czukay, another repurposed Can track- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SCOw7vbB5w Also a big fan of PhantomBand, Jaki Leibezeit's post-Can group. They had two pretty distinct phases, I actually prefer the somewhat corny first phase- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7bqx3ziGYs&t=238s...

Meant to mention- I have a set of Yamaha HS5 and they are pretty good, but definitely inferior to the JBL 305. Also fairly anemic in the bass response, so if you want a lot of low end in your listening environment, they're not the choice.

I got a pair of the JBL 305P MkII a few months back for right under $300, and have been immensely satisfied. Best monitors I've ever owned, though I have admittedly never owned high end monitors. A friend of mine who does have high end monitors was pretty surprised by the JBLs though, he felt they w...

I'll back the Sony PCM-M10 as well. Much better sound quality than my old Zoom H2, and just a pleasure to hold and use. Not the greatest for stereo imaging though. But I love the size and form factor, and that translates to more frequent use, for me. I use a Rode Dead Kitten for a windscreen, and it...

I'm a big proponent of the (almost) single manufacturer system. For me, ease of use and general creativity increased a good bit once I moved in that direction. It's certainly not for everybody, but I felt that it made me work more efficiently, and more directly to a specific musical goal. Also decre...

Hey, West Coast Random Source users, I'm curious: if you purchased the module recently, does the FRV section still say "Fluctating Random Voltages?" The spelling is corrected in the manual, but not in the panel image on Sputnik's website. I had never noticed this before- just pulled up a photo of m...
