utune polyphonic setup question

i have another short question: if i want to use two channels for midi to cv (pitch and gate) but i also want to have the velocity of those midi notes, i then need to use channel 3 and 4 for the velocity. but how do i tell the utune, that the cycle, poly, stack etc behavior should affect only channel...

Re: Mungo Enterprises c1, convolution, delay, sampler

can someone make more sounddemos please? especially different settings of live convolution, rhythm into pad, pad into rhythm, rhythm into rhythm, voices ala vocoder etc? step by step sounds, nothing complicated and without additional effects? i would appreciate that alot! thanks

i did this (23:54 - Plyn) with the er101 sequencer and overdubs
the minimal timing errors arent that real sounding but at least possible with a very fast clock into the er101

utune midi note routing

when i route din midi to din midi and cv out, it only works as long as there is no microtuning on the din to din routing.
as soon as i enable microtuning on din to din my din to cv out doesn't work anymore.
why is that?

thanks

Re: µTune: midi merger for norddrum2 question

thanks for the reply, i think i understand now, passing midi in to midi out doesn't go through the same merger prcess than with cv/gate, it just passes midi through... but would it be possible to add that possibility? not just cv/gate to different midi channels but also midi to midi in varied ways, ...

µTune: midi merger for norddrum2 question

ok so i have a question about the µTune midi merger, maybe i misunderstood something. i want to play a nord drum 2 polyphonically through a simple midi keyboard and the µTune in between. the nord drum has 6 voices each can be played via a dedicated midi channel, so therefore i would like to play my ...

i finally have a nord drum 2 and wanted to revive this thread and ask @paranormal if your module became reality and a good solution to trigger the nd2 dynamically? I`m using these modules to send triggers to ND2: modulargrid_1065928.jpg A bit pricey and heavy on HP, but absolutely worth it. No doub...

Re: dynamic triggers

hm ok i see, thanks for the answers! i would like to use the analog trigger inputs of the nd2, midi is fine but first i would like to try to use voltages. i thought about a 6 gate to trigger converters and the output would be this nd2 ethernet cable... am i right that this cable carries "just" six p...

love this patch @aragorn23, well done! there are two already existing threads like this, so i crosslink them here so people interesting in these patching techniques can find all related info: Nature Patch examples: https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=157448 Nature patches: https://...

Re: Intellijel Shifty

thanks @scorttmfr, yeah i think that would work, but then i would need 4 vca's "just" for letting the trigger through. but it's worth a try. it's a pity that dynamic gates/triggers are almost of no interest in modular synthesis circles it seems...it's unused information if you ask me, it could easil...

Re: Intellijel Shifty

thank you both @brandonlogic and @Phitar, so the gate-out length follows the gate-in length, but it doesn't look at the gate voltage right? i would need to use the CV in instead. so if i want to have four voices hocketing pitch AND dynamic trigger i would need two shifty... (i would like to use it w...

Re: Intellijel Shifty

does the gate out follow the gate in? or is it a fixed gate length at the outputs? i ask because i need something like shifty not for cv but for triggers, eg one dynamic trigger stream in and four trigger streams out with the same dynamics (lengths, voltages). or would it be possible to treat the tr...

Re: Oscillator for "organic" instrument

the oscillator doesn't matter that much, a physical modelling oscillator doesn't exist anyway, nothing is oscillating permanently in this synthesis technique. i would focus on filter and waveshaper, look for nonlinearity, tubes or a good open structure with lots of cv out-/inputs so you can patch fe...

Re: random*source wave multiplier | symmetry, feedback … patch ideas

i know. but still the output in lo mode seems to have a higher level than in hi mode (setting gain and in to max). i wonder if this is due to the rectification of the signal and hence part of the circuit… ? hi has a lower output level than lo, that's normal, but exactly why i don't know... the lowe...
