Re: Moog Memorymoog sucessfully cloned

Very close to completion now! Waiting for the revised leftmost panel label to arrive, and I am talking to a guy that makes 3D printed prototypes for the buttons. The machining shop still did not give me a quotation for the aluminum side cheeks, I am about to manufacture these myself with a hacksaw/...

I have a Moog Voyager and Luismarka's Memorymoog would be a perfect companion.
That's nice, dear.

Is this MammaryMoog set to milk the space again?
I'm not sure I understand??

Re: Moog Memorymoog sucessfully cloned

I am considering an Oberheim Xpander clone, so this is probably the display I am going to use if I ever decide to clone it. Apparently the display is the hardest to find part in the Xpander! You are a hard working DIY'er! Here's a slogan for you: Luismarka does more before 9am than most people do a...

It's pretty much easy to adapt almost any keyboard to Memorymoog.
CS1X is a nice candidate ;)
My Memorymoog uses a Juno 106 keybed. It is just a matter of figuring the wiring.
I just downloaded the CS1x service manual to have a look at the keybed wiring. :tu:

Re: Moog Memorymoog sucessfully cloned

Sounds really lush, not harsh or brittle - nice work!

Count me in for one kit or whatever you decide to do once it's finished. I have a Yamaha CS1x that's gathering dust. Should be easy to adapt the keybed for this build if the time comes.

Cheers

Never mind the wood supports under the panel boards; they are temporary, I only mounted those because I was running out of real estate in my desk! Needed the room for the calibrations.

Also, I have to ask - your profile pic - I swear I have seen that photo on some album.
Maybe on the back of an Rage In Eden era single? Or earlier? I tried image searching, but nothing came up and now I just need to know :)

Re: crOwBX 8-voice

Thanks for the update Chrutil.

I hope to start building my 8-voice system, but I guess I should try building the voice cards first and then design a rig to test them. This would at least give me a reason to dive into CircuitStudio.

Re: [AVAILABLE] TTSH V4 Build Thread

Does anyone have the Gerber files for the 4027-1 osc boards still? They are no longer on oshpark. Hi amir, I created those VCO files (and designed a front panel) so I could build a TTSH from scratch after Jon sent me an extra mainboard. I shared them freely with everyone but it didn't feel right co...

Re: 2600 clone - Two Thousand Six Hundred (TTSH)

hi all, bought a couple of v1 kits for this when they first came out. the covid19 lockdown finally gave me the time to build them. the boards are stuffed, but the only build instructions i can find kind of run out after that. no guidance on how to wire it up, or get it running. can anyone direct me...

And for anyone interested in building one who's not in the UK, it's cheaper to have five PCBs made by jlcpcb.com and shipped direct to you than me posting one overseas from the UK which is quite bizarre. The gerber files are attached. Simply create an account at jlcpcb.com and upload the zip file. ...

Re: The (real) Jupiter 8 Clone

Nice going ACME.

I'd still like the option for a full-size set of PCB's. I've worked in sheetmetal and cabinetry and I believe I can build a full-size keyboard housing for myself. Anything I can't do I'll farm out to a metalworks company.

Cheers!
