Thanks guys. It has been a crazy 10+ years, and I'm happy SynthCube can continue their great work for DIY and all the formats. I'll have a ton of great memories, and am glad I was of service to the community. If there is a delay in shipping, blame me -- I'm working hard every night, but there is jus...

Just got the heads-up on this. It's totally my fault on not giving the heads-up on the faulty boards. Sorry! There were two files I got, one faulty and one not. In the future, all boards will be without faults. If your filter is sounding 'wimpy', then it definitely has an issue, probably a rung or t...

I was just told about this thread. Is the only problem found with 12V? I've built plenty at 15V with no issue, and no veroboard mod. I know plenty of others have built from 12V (including my shop-mate, who just made a working dual unit), and I didn't hear anything about needing a mod.

Well, since I just had to buy boatloads more of SSM2220, BI Tech pots, circuit boards, rails, brackets, panels and whiskey, I'll keep the sale going "off the cuff". At least until I find out how much I owe for taxes :zombie:

Need to update that page! I have a new batch of panels, so full kits are available, and panels and boards. I'm behind on assembly, so it might take a few weeks to ship a unit, sorry about that.

I totally understand. There's one reason for this thread: My bad communication. Only one thing will fix it: Better communication! Simple, but a recurring problem that I aim to remedy.

And I deserve that. My communication has been very bad, and I'm changing those habits straightaway. I actually thought I was all caught up on emails, and getting very close on orders (I have an assembler now!)

I just got some emails from folks, thinking I was out of MOTM, and I'm definitely not!

Sorry to everyone about the lack of communication, AGAIN. It's very embarrassing. I thought I was caught up, so if you have not had a response, can you please PM me? I'm getting orders out every day, but you're all right -- I need to focus on communication! I can't make more promises, but hopefully ...

I'm not sure of the details here, but the Bridechamber is still doing the whole MOTM line and has no plans to stop. The 485, 490 and 510 are being restocked too. I'm shipping kits and assembled modules every day. As far as I know, I'm the only one with the gerbers and CADs...

It's true, I've dropped the ball again. Balls are all getting picked up and shipped within the next two weeks. I dropped school, so that will give me the time to keep up much better. And if anyone can tell me who to blow at Comcast so I can get cable at the shop, that would help. :omg:

Well, that's just depressing and true. It actually is very surprising when we will pay >$300 for one oscillator, when you can buy an iPad w/ an MS20 and a whole lot more for the same price. That's the source of a lot of "price grouching", I think. There's some "insanely great" technology to be had f...

I don't know, but using "different" jacks at least allows me to keep prices close to Paul's. 5U is not a forgiving format for hardware. Add to that the increasing number of obsoleted parts that are hugely expensive and/ or untested knock-offs from the Asian market (CA3280, etc. etc.), and it's a wil...

BI Tech pots, Alco knobs, but the jacks are knockoffs! I _can_ do Switchcraft, but they're probably made in the plant next door to Switchcraft anyway... Wavewarper could happen but will have to wait til I recoup some of the ching from the rest of the line. Paul had a decade to ramp up all that stuff...

MU... maybe some will come out by end of year. Paul's redoing some boards. We're concentrating on new stuff (Terrariums, Cloud, FX) and redoing some really popular ones (440, etc.) in SMT.

MOTM Full Kits and Assembled Modules are a GO!!!!

Hi all, and apologies for blatant spam! I'm bad at this, but it's time to self-promote so that we can finish the line, pay rent, stop having to steal coffee from old ladies, etc. Just some of the modules available -- 300 VCO, 480 CS Dual Filter, etc. etc. Check it: http://www.bridechamber.com/Module...

Metalphoto is much better, I think. I just like the finish and am not much for the chunky engraving. The FPE software is nice, though, if you don't have good graphics software for the silkscreen. Just got my first Metalphoto panels and I like them a lot. Metalphoto is probably cheaper at quantities ...
