****Oops, you already mentioned this, sorry.****

Not a module, but the Kenton Pro 2000 MKII (with the latest firmware) has a polychain mode.

Disclaimer: It also has tiny jacks on it.

I have done the multiple Lamp on trick by accident many times! I am usually trigger many different stages with many different sources when it happens. I think it happens because the sequencer isn't a decade counter-based design (or even a binary counter design). Those 2 common sequencer types cannot...

I feel great, thanks! I have really only tried 2 simple patches with the Switch, but so far this is the switch of my dreams and it has unique features I haven't seen anywhere else in MU (except maybe the SSL Segwencer). I plugged the Switch in immediately when I got home. I typically do a no sound p...

I was there, and had a blast again! Knobcon is home for me and it is full of people and manufacturers that share our deep love for synthesizers. I only missed 1 out of 5 so far. I did bring out my 5U system out for the first 2 Knobcons. I plan to bring it back again sooner than later, but it just wa...

That makes sense, sorry for my defensive response. I know I have posted on something that was old by accident (this thread included). It is always a good reminder to look at the date of the last post. I also remember when it was hard to find topics I wanted to contribute to when I first started whic...

I am assuming you saw that I don't need to add to my post count, so that must not be directed at me.

The only response above with few actual posts was correct. I am not so sure how that is a problem to say it is too costly.

Doug, I sent Ryk a few messages on electro-music.com about a trigger sequencer I was working on (that never materialized, sniff, sniff). He was very friendly and easy-going. I bet you could work something out. his username: ryktnk I was going to do rotary knobs instead of slide switches, but I just ...

Nothing beats the MuRF at being a MuRF. I say buy one. Get the newer MIDI version and you can do all manner of amazing things with it (like triggering the filters in any way you want and controlling the VCA of each filter). I have created my own sequences over midi and it can respond to very short n...

I would start by having a 2-stage sequential switch and set up with 2 waveform inputs that are the reverse of one other. You might have more luck having 2 envelopes switched that same way (one with no attack like an organ (air blowing out) and the other with some attack (like air filling in). This w...

To the previous poster: I can't see why you wouldn't be able to do both Audio and Control signal switching. All switches I know of handle both AC or DC signals. Apparently I forgot about this forum for a while. I called STG the other day and he informed me that the Switch is happening now! I was on ...

Once you buy modules, they don't magically make great music or amazing sounds. I am glad you already learned that first hand (as a lot of us have). Now there is nowhere to go but up! If you take the time to learn each module to understand what it does and why, then you start to understand the full p...

I have Both MU and MOTM in the same setup 100-spaces worth of custom cabinets. I have toyed with the idea of separating the 2 formats so I can put more MU in my main cabinets. I guess that means I am more committed to maintaining my MU system haha. I just can't bring myself to even considering the i...

Thanks! The guy who bought these cases didn't have any grounding issues that I ever heard about. I believe I asked him about that (as it was brought up here before a while ago) and he said it wasn't a problem. I can't imagine a modular designer would ever rely on a metal case to connect the system o...

I have made a few Modcan A cabinets out of Acrylic. I laser the holes and have threaded inserts that each module mounts to (so the holes will never wear out). The problem is that the bigger the cabinets, the less I want to ship them. The pic below is of 2 matching cabinets that hold a ton of Modcan ...

Congrats on the update! This is a great filter and knowing it's ins and outs only makes it all the more amazing! The shimmery quirks are the frosting of this cake.

I am jealous of the ultra-shallow depth, but I have no money to just buy another one for that reason alone.
