Re: Your Favorite Acquisitions in 2020

Software: Ditched Cubase for Reaper and couldn’t be happier. Fed up with the bloat and crappy security system. Hardware (all old school stuff): 1) Bought an Ensoniq ASR-10 keyboard in perfect working condition. Have upgraded it to SCSI and a SCSI2SD reader. 2) Bought a Roland D-550 rackmount module....

Re: Waveboy effects for Ensoniq gear

Can't help you with the price.....sorry. The Wave boy stuff is still for sale at Sampler Zone. The complete bundle goes for about $350 US. That may give you an idea of what your purchase is worth. https://samplerzone.com/collections/waveboy-effects The EPS 16+ usually came with 1 MB of RAM that coul...

I have the WTF oscillator and love it. But instead of getting two, I think I’ll go for the Waveplane Oscillator instead.

Thanks guys. The image is from Hubble and I thought it went well with the MFOS brand. Plus I LOVE this VCO. It's nice and spacely-economical in this single width form factor. But it's not silkscreened... :hihi: Great, now I need all those MFOS modules you built for me changed to panels with differe...

My 565 V3 was creating a lot of false triggers and it turned out that the Q173 Gate Math module to the right off the 565 was radiating some interference and....... Sheesh, as if figuring out problems with one’s modular wasn’t hard enough. Now we have to worry about the Feng Shui of our modules too....

Great review Cornutt. I have a Q119 and also own some more fully featured sequencers as well, including the Moon M569 and a Electro-Music Klee, recently built by Megaohm in 5U. While they both have more depth to them (especially the Klee!) I must say the Q119 is the most fun to use. I would never ge...
