Re: Instruo Lúbadh stereo looper
possible small bug in 1.3: The left reel doesn't start automatically when in reverse mode after restart the system. any news on the new firmware? I wrote to Instruo recently. They are writing the v2 firmware from the ground up. It will be much much improved with some amazing new features. However s...

Re: Expert Sleepers disting EX
I guess this is a seperate gear question, but I'm wondering how possible it'd be to use a keystep pro plus a novation launch control at the same time with the disting? Specifically thinking of the poly wavetable synth, having the settings available at a knob-per-setting thing. Would like to avoid wr...

Re: 0-CTRL clock in a module?
Took some suggestions from here and worked out a system I think emulates it interestingly. The new (ish) Keystep Pro update makes it easy to have sequences move one step per clock pulse, no matter how unsteady that clock pulse is, so I mult-ed the note CV to the Clock CV in to get this jumpy lil thi...

Re: Expert Sleepers disting EX
Finally got around to updating, new polysynth is killer, but I'm still running into issues on the multisample I was running into on the og firmware, namely a lot of weird artifacting seemingly randomly, but mostly when more than a few notes are sustained at the same time. Stuttering and popping most...

0-CTRL clock in a module?
Anybody know of a clock module/gate sequencer that works like the 0-ctrl where each step can be individually delayed/extended from the main clock? Would prefer to not get another out of box controller if I can help it

Re: Instruo Lúbadh stereo looper
Came across an issue that might have been reported on before; when I put the module into tape decay mode, there's always a bit of a click (or at least a fraction of noticeable silence) at the top of the loop. I know this was resolved in the normal loop mode with the last update (and I double checked...

Has anybody had any success syncing the KSP with an external CV clock? I haven't updated mine to the newest firmware yet but when I've tried to do this in the past the KSP will only sync with a ridiculously fast clock

Re: ALM Squid Salmple - 8 channel CV and audio sampler
Had a thought that would be really cool to have in an update if possible (unless this is doable already) - sort of an 'inverse cv' setting. for example, if cv1 is set to control the loop end location, 0v would correspond to the end being at the farthest point in the sample, and 5v being at the very ...

Re: Doepfer Vs all the rest
This is all interesting, thanks I was just looking at a doepfer quad lfo. Again, probably a stupid question (I'm fairly new) how do you clock them in sequence as there doesn't seem to be a clock input? That quad LFO can't be clocked, they're all free running. Good for unsync'd modulations and stuff...

Re: Marbles Alternative
Bloom is a cool one but it definitely takes some time tweaking to make it pretty. A lot more menu dive-ey too. That being said I have it next to Marbles and wouldn't leave home without either, and Bloom does sort of have a randomization feature (the Mutate knob will mess up yr sequence incrementally)

Re: Expert Sleepers disting EX
Hey all, when using SD MULTISAMPLE is there a way to change the input mode to have NO pitch or gate inputs, i've checked the cv mappings and it doesn't seem like you can turn off the cv gate pair... I mostly input with midi so input 2 and 4 are being held hostage! would be cool to be able to turn t...

This might be kinda bonkers, but is there any overlap with Hermod and Voltage Block? Been a smidge frustrated with VB but i wonder if a hermod would be overkill, or if it's as adept at modulation over like note sequencing

Re: Instruo Lúbadh stereo looper
Got my Lubadh a week or so back. So far am really liking the workflow. One thing I noticed that I wanted to see if others are experiencing is a slight change in volume when the loop ends/ starts. It’s not a click, but still something that is noticeable. The way to get it is to put a constant dronin...

Benjolin-esque self contained feedback machines?
I've had a Benjolin for about a month now and it's really blown the door open for me w/r/t the power of a few components tripping over each other in jagged feedback loops. Very excited to figure out some systems with my own modules but I'm curious if there's any other devices similar to the Benjolin...

Here's the first patch I ended up with. Lots of things happening - filter outputs swelling in and out with Tides 2, raw-er Benjolin outputs modulating other oscillators and filters, short delay on the whole thing. Lots of fun!

My module suddenly stopped outputting any CV today, and I've been trying to update the firmware for an hour and it keeps going to red, no matter what device or what volume I try it at. Going completely insane. Any tips?
EDIT: now it's not booting up at all except in calibration mode, dope
