Re: BEST VCF at the moment ??

I'm currently investigating the Threeler as an underrated eurorack filter with huge musical capabilities. Can anyone chime in one way or another? Yeh i will have to get one at some point I've heard some amazing demos of it. Seems like a killer vcf. Now there are plenty stereo vcf too so hard to cho...

Sample management - Habits and tools

I've been collecting tons of material over the year. From field recording to samples made in the daw. I've used these files and chopped them up into little pieces to use as rly everything and anything. Ableton is terrible at sample management. The browser suck and really it's not of much use. You ca...

Re: Audiointerfaces with lots of inputs

I feel like RME may actually update their fireface ufx+ with avb since they recently made some AVB stuff. It would be logical to follow up like that. It's also not that complicated for them to add it. AVB is better than madi. I feel hesitant to buy an UFX+ now with madi too since it's not really a ...

Re: Audiointerfaces with lots of inputs

How high can you run the 2 motu with avb ? 96khz?

Yeh the combo is really really nice. Maybe it's less durable than RME which seems to deliver drivers way longer than motu but idk

Re: Audiointerfaces with lots of inputs

Anyway i need to change my interface and for almost the same price i get the ufx+ i can get a motu 828es and motu 16a both in AVB I have this exact setup, works nicely. the routing took a bit to wrap my head around, but once you figure out the routing matrix, it makes sense. happy to answer questio...

Re: FIVE12 Eurorack Vector Sequencer

Ok, for anyone on the fence about a vector, the native launchpad integration is game changing. Launching clips and scenes.. making real time changes to drum patterns and basslines. This used to be the sequencer you programmed. Now it's something you can sketch stuff on and play live. It’s from a ne...

wofls secret tip - abusing noise gates to snip the length of transients diown to 'little' bits - there aint many noise gates in eurorack so the discovery of ladiks 4hp gems was a wonder - theyre absolutely perfect and they only cost like $70, they have all the controls/settings you'd need or wnat a...

Re: Aggregate OS X limit and stability

my understanding is aggregating devices does add latency and there can also be timing issues. drowld you should check out the Presonus Quantum 4848. 32 line I/O and 16 ADAT. I have one and it is super clean and rock solid stability. Same price as the 16A although you do need to get DB25 snakes, whi...

Re: Aggregate OS X limit and stability

Nah the thing is right now i'm running an antelope zen tour with expert sleepers adat modules. But i hate them es3/6 and i would prefer to have everything running into the patchbay and then into the soundcards. It's cheaper to get different soundcards and to have them running in aggregate mode. Righ...

Aggregate OS X limit and stability

I’ve been using windows for the past 10 years. I’m thinking about switching to the new generation of apple silicon macs. I always wanted to have aggregate device so I could chain like 2 focus rite 18i20 with a motu 16a and get 32in/32Out easy. Does anyone know how stable aggregate devices are and ho...

It's weird thomann isnt listing the new version yet. Supposedly behringer was sending a few to some shops. Thomann should've been one of them right.
I think they don't answer this question about "when is it in shops" when asked by mail

Honestly this forum is becoming like gearslutz. So many cringelord saying this doesnt sound like the 2600 they want.
