Damn... if I would've saw this, I would've downloaded. Any chance for it to be put up again? It would work great put into a Dropbox folder, then it would be easily accessible anytime. I can volunteer to put them in my Dropbox too.

Re: Gotharman's SpazeDrum

Here’s my trusty outdoor music gear by the way. We’re camping again this weekend and of course the SpazeDrum had to come with us ;) I’m powering it with a Harley Benton 9V/USB power bank and I’ve got a pair of decent Shure in-ear headphones. The four segment solar panel charges the power bank via U...

Re: Gotharman's SpazeDrum

Anyway, long story short: we’re lucky! Because the SpazeDrum offers to modulate the envelope stages! :yay: This lets us apply an old Serge modular synth trick to shape the curves of the envelopes further. For example, take the VCA Decay stage and modulate it with the inverse of itself (AENV-). We c...

Re: 1010music Blackbox - Compact Sampling Studio

Does anyone know if there's a way to use an x0x sequencer like the Arturia Beatstep Pro or maybe Synthstrom Deluge to toggle the steps of the Black Box's step sequencer on/off? I like the concept of this, but always prefer having access to x0x buttons.

Re: Tascam Model 12 (With Midi!)

Well it’s going for £520 or something , thing is you can get a 24 for £700. I guess if you don’t have the room. Sadly, the 24 hasn't got MIDI. newest firmware adds MIDI TC over USB. So will work with a DAW at least. So can the Model 24 and 16 now control your DAW faders and whatnot like the 1...

Re: SOMA Labs - The Pipe

Does the neck strap and stand come with it now? I'm strongly considering buying a black Pipe finally. Still deciding on getting this or another effects unit. The only thing I'm worried about is that I won't be able to properly sync the Pipe with my music (when using some of it's tempo based effects)...

Re: SE Boomstar

I have the SE80 and like it quite a bit. Has good bottom end to it and playing with the filters is quite fun. The ATC-1/X/i are all great sounding too. SE synths have always had 'tone' and character. Compared to many other modern budget analog monos, SE synths are like the big juicy and greasy delux...

Re: What about Zoom R16 as a mixer and audio interface?

The industry doesn't appear to be there yet as far as having a proper mixer with built in audio interface for DAW. There's mixers out there that can act as audio interfaces, but they lack proper FX sends/returns. It's a shame because there's a big market for this. I have a feeling more companies are...

i'd advise any folk trying to play fretless instruments - to employ the use of a drone box (or shruti box) like they do in carnatic music. helps so much realise how fucking out of tune you are In addition, I'd advise an electric violin so that your neighbors don't realize how fucking out of tune yo...

Ahhh, hold ENTER and press TAP TEMPO and you go to the TEMPO SCREEN. I think the Wavestate is awesome, no doubt, but a couple things are majorly bugging me about it: 1. No BPM indication anywhere??? I can't find the BPM in any of the menus. Read the manual watched lots of tutorials. For a syn...

i do own a quantum and think it's an absolutely incredible synth. and this is exactly the same synth engine minus the neglectable analogness of the filter. so compared to the quantum the price on this is a steal. i am sure they intentionally left out the additional UI controls (env, lfo, fx etc) ju...

I already I got my wish with the hybrid keyboard version, that couldn't be more perfect for me.

I recently got a Bam - the previous owner had put a little sticker on the from with the algorithm numbers. Re: Tascam Model 24 Mutlitrack Recorder and Mixer

I'm thinking about going the with Tascam Model 12. If you record your tracks to the Model 12 SD card, can you import them individually in Logic automatically? Is this something other modern mixers do? I used to have an Allen and Heath mixer years ago in the 2000s and then sold it to go with a smalle...

I love it. Anytime a designer is beside oneself from giggling over the sound, makes me feel I fork over the money for this. Or just watch that video on loop, but I rather the former.

Can someone tell why this year some many companies are making a 2600? TTSH did one years ago, I know, but this seems oddly coincidental.

I think the SH-32 is quite cool. It sounds really good to me. It's not a true VA. It uses samples for it's oscillators. But those samples sound really good to my ears. Effects on it are great. Easy to edit too.

I want one, but only if it's easy to make your own templates. I wish there was a video of that. I suppose I should email them.
