Re: 1-a-day project

I can second that Julian's panels are great quality - I have several eurorack panels he designed for Miscreant (whoop-john).

Re: Beginners synth diy

Yes I did buy one of those bare board super cheap component testers and it is really good - works with many transistors (confirms the pin out of the legs too), resistors, capacitors and diodes I've tried. Definitely a really useful bit of kit. Btw I am going to use your idea of using two wires for q...

Re: Beginners synth diy

Great to see that you have built your first module, the 4ms mult. Good choice and if you can do that you have many possibilities. (Obvious I know but you can check it by plugging patch cables into it and testing continuity by touching the corresponding tips with your dmm leads). Get a dmm if you don...

Re: just bought a sick Kork Polysix

There are replacement pcb's available and also there is the kiwisix upgrade replacement. Kiwi recommend also changing the psu

Haven't tried either of these but been looking at a Polysix. Look forward to hearing about how your project goes. Best of luck.

Re: Internal wiring mod?

If you are planning to solder connections to the 138S sockets and then also plug input signals into those sockets, it is not advisable. Read the following thread about "stacking" inputs: https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1718024 From the thread:- Outputs are low impedance and must on...

Great video thank you for sharing and I especially liked the demo music - really beautiful! :yay: Any more info on how you did this patch/sequence would be appreciated. Where is a good basic introduction to what is involved? Ok will remove IC2 1&3.

I think that is because IC2 2&4 are buffering before the output, right?

And with 22k for R4 and R5, as yes I do want 0-5v for euro.

Thanks everyone. Hoping someone else finds this discussion useful. Will post when have done slider module.

Hi Guest - The circuit is designed for a couple of faders on a panel that are 'cv generators' the idea is that they can be patched to any appropriate input on a modular as a manual slider - the designers website has a video that shows his controlling filter cutoff. Will try using a TL072 and leaving...

The Skookum Anookum (mutable anushri) on Pusherman is through hole. If I was going to start building from scratch I would go smt. Can I sub 10K sliding pot with 100K for CV generating fader

I have a couple of spare 100K sliding pots from another project and came across this "Wob wob fader" circuit The circuit is designed for 10K pots but if I replace R2 and R3 with both 100K will I be able to get a similar response from 100K pots replacing R4 and R5? https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/u...

This is are very nice sounding full analog voice. Full kit and easy to follow instructions. Would always be useful in a eurorack system. No pic programming necessary. No sequencer or drum machine either but you can build those next :hihi: : https://modularaddict.com/module-type/full-voice/rarewaves-...

Hi

Still working out the price.

It will be a full kit:

19 slide switches
1 rotary switch
12 pots
12 knobs
1 panel pcb
1 main pcb
1 panel
plus 'special components'

So will probably be in the £200 price range.
