Re: I need an easy to use sequencer similar to a drum machine

There are so many choices out there, but I think our forum user has written the best guide. https://doudoroff.com/sequencers/ A thread like this comes up like, literally every 48 hours. should just be a sticky: "LOOKING FOR A SEQUENCER CHECK HERE FIRST!" same for their mixer one too. I'm looking fo...

Re: I need an easy to use sequencer similar to a drum machine

All awesome ideas thanks. I think the Pittsburgh Modular Lifeforms looks the easiest to figure out and it’s a decent price. I’m just a blasting noise guy and need something basic. I’m a basic guy lol
I also might get a cv matrix mixer and try using my Pamela’s Workout..I forgot I even owned it.

I need an easy to use sequencer similar to a drum machine

I want to get a euro sequencer but I need something that’s intuitive and relatively simple to learn and use. If I get something with a million options and modes I’ll never be able to use it. I also dont want to drop a bucketload of $ if I can avoid it. All suggestions and recommendations are welcome...

I need a decent euro mixer preferably with faders

My Doepfer mixers are crackly and some jacks are intermittent. The knobs are hard to turn for live performance. I need something better, something with faders or something performance ready. WMD makes one badass mixeR but it’s like $1000 and I can’t do that much $$. Any suggestions would be apprecia...

Re: Why won’t you fit in my case?

Ok, I don’t do drugs but I don’t know wtf I was talking about concerning the beauty case. I know it fits already. I’m wondering if I take off the bottom board, will it work ok in the Enclave 2 row portable case that I have? I have this case. 39641A00-5645-474A-9C29-694A58EC7494.jpeg Sorry about that...

Re: Why won’t you fit in my case?

I haven't been around much lately, so missed this thread when it was happening. First, oops... on the metric dimension in that pic. It should have said 6.5cm (65mm). In that original version the bottom board is there for people who don't have a heavy amount of 5v available in their case (or any 5v ...

I meant depth. It fits in a beauty case yeah, but not in my enclave case. It’s like a 1/16” too fat to fit. I want it in my case so bad! :bang:

Yes, I have. I meant a cheat sheet or something even more basic. I’ll review the manual again, thank you for the reply.

Ornament and Crime for Dummies?

I’ve had an Ornament and Crime for a while and it’s sat in my rack neglected. I tried to use it today and damn, I hardly remember anything about it. I’m not the greatest with figuring things out, is there some kind of cheat sheet, a web page or even a book with easy steps to get it happening? I coul...

New portable rig with video manipulation

New live rig with portable video glitching - just added the Ornament and Crime and I’m struggling to find something to use it for. Got a couple of good noisy things out of it so it’ll probably be ok

Spotted this on Instagram and mentioned the muffwiggler forum to Pete. Maybe he’ll come over and check what’s going on.

Also, just to repeat myself..the MASF OSc03 is probably the best noise/power electronics module out there and it comes as a stand alone unit too. I havea few and love them. Not just white noise, but chaotic ripping sickness

Just got an X1L3 Shard module and it’s awesome. So raw and has a finger sensor/slider that responds to touch. Killer for power electronics I have a Wreckage in the mail at the moment, will likely be grabbing a Shard next. Have any recordings with it yet? No recordings but I did a gig with it and i'...

What’s the difference between Karper/Zenert and Tocante

So I’m attending the Tocante building workshop at Control in NYC in February. An option is offered to build a Karper or Zenert for $50 more. I want to decide what to build but I can’t find info that compares the models or tells me why the Karper or Zenert cost more. Can any of you wigglers shed some...
