Re: Qu-Bit Nebulae v2

I'm looking into buying a V1 as well, but the seller has informed me of a bug where the RECALL doesn't work : do any V1 owners know anything about that ? Hey I'm considering buying a Nebulae v1 (because of tight budget) but all the info i find online is about v2. Can someone summarize the difference...

Re: Squarp Rample

I'd wait for Squarp to publish some specs before jumping to any conclusions about performance. Streaming from an SD card does not necessarily mean high latency Yes it does. I have tiptop one, i know how it performs. its correct that under the right circumstances it has great latency, that means jus...

Re: Qu-Bit Nebulae v2

I'm trying to decide between this and a Morphagene. I'm not looking for any specific features or functions. I don't make any specific genre of music and I don't play live gigs. I just wanted to add something 'interesting' to my rack and these caught my attention. Also, I have a piano and some other...

Re: Erica Synths SWAMP - the Wogglebug-inspired DIY module

Hello ! im building a swamp at the moment and im not sure about the "resettable fuses" mentioned in the build. According to the PCB and instructions, its 2X ERF-RB-090-30 that goes there, i didnt find them in the kit. However I got 2 extra 104 capacitors. Erica support tells me that i should put th...

Re: Blue Lantern Diode VCF Steiner 10 Stage??

I have one, it's very aggressive sounding. I'll also say that it's by far the noisiest damn filter in my entire rack, and picks up interference from just about anything nearby. I don't know if that's inherent to the design or what, but it's definitely noticeable. Wondering if the interference is fr...

With regards to the lack of locking, have you performed the calibration procedure? Or if you have and have used your TM in a while, maybe doing it again might help. Music Thing Modular voltages MKI as a cv expander for muxlicer

I've been thinking about using a Music Thing Modular voltages MKI with sliders as a cv expander with other sequencer/sequential switch modules (namely Muxlicer). Doesn anyone know what the pins on the header port correspond to ?

Re: Qu-Bit Scanned - Organic Wavetable VCO

what did you use to trigger the excite ? Would be great to get some feedback from the Qu-Bit people. Gate from my Cirklon. I first converted it to trigger (with a doepfer gate to trigger module) but after you said a longer time could help I used the gate direct so I'd be able to determine length. (...

Re: Qu-Bit Scanned - Organic Wavetable VCO

Hi, I've been experimenting with different trigger lengths into the excite input which helps to avoid clicks. Nice one. I'm gonna try that tonight! edit: it didn't work. Ah well, I've got it working with an envelope and it sounds good. It's just not like it should/could be this way. what did you us...

Re: Qu-Bit Scanned - Organic Wavetable VCO

Using inject seems to allow smoother slope and less clicks. Indeed. I just got it today and used it for a little while now and that solution is also the one I came up with. Regrettable, when using the excite button or input it's very hard to get through a short session without the clicks. I did man...

Scratch that, I had the gate mode all the way down, the sequencer is working, BUT I can't get CV out of it, the gates are working fine..
If you can't get CV out of it that doesn't sound like the sequencer is working. Check your solder joints and op amp out pins.

Thanks for the confirmation, hopefully it is something they can address. Unless it is the nature of the beast and on has to live with it, although in my limited experience with scanned-synthesis in max, I don't remember that being an issue. However here they have choosen their own way of creating th...

The A-140-2 looks rad! Its kinda like two of the Blue Lantern ADSR I have in the same size package. All its missing is a linear/exponential switch, and the looping mode. The Blue Lantern has a "Time" CV too, and a manual knob for "Time", but theres no manual or even one page PDF for it anywhere tha...
