Re: The modules you have in double, triple, quadruple ...

Two R55's and Two Maths.

All 4 of those modules would make a kickass demo.

Re: Your 2 cents are more than welcome

Gonna assume there is a lot of fresh money into this system, meaning you just recently bought a big chunk of it. (There is my initial Judgement of this system) The problem with big systems is you begin to get overlap within modules, I would access those proclivities within your system and sell the l...

Rossum Trident, looks interesting and sounds great, got my eye on that one. I still have not bought a Make Noise DPO. It's oldskool but sounds superb. The Schippmann VCO looks and sounds wonderful but alas not enough clams. Serge NTO I am also eye balling as I enjoy the DIY kits from Random Source.

Re: Cwejman contact for VCO-2RM repair

Sent mine into BCM without issue at all. Call first, talk to the receptionist, get the address then send in your module. You have to PayPal BCM for return postage when the module is repaired and ready to be shipped back to you. It was about a month or so turn around last summer to get mine repaired....

Re: New Doepfer Power Supply A-100PSU3

I´m getting more and more tempted to get Monster Base as my next case, but I don´t like the internal PSU. - I´ve been running into power limitations with another case already and don´t want ever see that again - Internal PSU will add to the heat generated by the modules. Fans are out of the questio...

Re: Output module options

The Random Source stereo has 1/4 balanced outs and does panning, among other things like wave shaping. randomsource_sergestereomixer_01.jpg I just DIY'ed one and I would probably recommend you have a good soldering rig to do one if you DIY, not hard at all. But like anything make sure you have the r...

Re: Trogotronic m277 power supply & alternativ tube

I put New Old Stock from Ebay in mine..

Old 12xa7 tubes work. My Raytheons do sound softer than the stock tubes.

Look for old obscure TV tubes like DuMont or the like.

TubeDepot based in Nashville TN, is also another great store for weird long discontinued tubes.

A-101-3 Stereo Vactrol phaser probably my favorite.

Pretty sure the vactrols in this thing are no longer made "Marcon" i beleive is the make of the vactrols. in here.

It still sounds good regardless.

Still one of those cold dead hands modules.

Re: Next Move?

Pretty solid setup. With the 2 H9's not much else is needed in effects. I would look into even a ER-301 to round the setup off into the granular digital realm. Which to me seems lacking in this setup, even thought you have a Nebulae. Perhaps a Morphagene? or a used Phonogene? Mungo GO or an instruo ...

Non Linear Circuits, good stuff, lots to choose from. I have one of his delays. Rumor has it, all the smoke in OZ is from Andrew's soldering iron.

R-56 is pretty damn good. Get a bigger spring boat, connect the RCA's and disconnect the blue, fun times.

Here is a quick dirty thought, :hmm: layer 2 samples upon each other using a envelope follower 2 vca's, 2 samplers, and one envelope follower and probably an attenuverter and a buff mult. Use the negative signal into the vca and the positive to another, tweak to liking.
