Pandemic streamin

This fits like a wooden clog... I wanted do a stream of a more or less not very musical patch thing. But I forgot to start broadcasting and ended up with a recording. Maybe skip a bit to the middle section. Sounds a bit better than the beginning. Oh and my goal was to use no reverb. Did use a small ...

After years of recording tracks that are 20 minutes plus, I'm currently trying to keep everything sub 12 minutes

Re: A long and boring tune

Really nice track which is a comfortable length for its style. Not at all boring and the transitions happen at well judged times. Although, if you were serious about wanting to make it shorter, I think you could probably edit down some of the last 1minute 30 seconds without damaging the integrity o...

Very nice! Gets better as you go along. Reminds me a bit of George Crumb's adaptations of earlier music in pieces like "Black Angels". Always nice to see some hybridization of old and new here.
Thanx! Never heard of George Crumb but will check it out! Always good to discover new music :-)

Re: Music for the Funeral of Queen Mary

Nicely baroque. Which Queen? Not the ocean liner I assume - did you have a Nederlandish Queen Mary? Always thought it was an original made by Wendy Carlos for Clockwork Orange. Only to discover it's a piece by Henry Purcell... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Funeral_Sentences_and_Music_for_the_...

Statement: Just friends is not a very stabile oscillator and damn hard to tune. Discuss! What??! It’s a digital oscillator... doesn’t really get more stable than that. I mean, tune it once and don’t touch the knob. It doesn’t even need to warm up. That being said, it only has a course knob, so it’s...

Re: Things you've shifted 180deg on over the years?

I bought a tuner and tune my oscillators. I do some basic study on harmony, scales and chords and basic song structure etc. and therefor try to be more melodic and nice sounding.
