Re: U.D.O. Super 6 hybrid "binaural" poly

The demos sound like this is a digital Juno with some wavetables. Not bad but not 2,5grand good, for me anyway

The fader works upside down. Meaning that you increase gain by lowering the fader. That's how mine works anyway.

Re: Arturia PolyMatrix / PolyBrute coming?

Very nice. 8 voices would have been better, but 6 is better than 4. I think it sounds really good and the modulation is there. The morphing seems like instant fun for sound design and going bat shit crazy at the turn of one knob...with some thought between A > B patch, seriously complex and consonan...

Re: What a used Natural Gate in VG condition looks like

Does it go "ping"? If it does and looks the way it does, its in very good condition.
Is there some unwritten law about NGs looking brand spanking new, because people are willing to pay insane prices for a used LPG that goes "ping"?

Re: New MakeNoise module: Mimeophon

...MakeNoise has admitted there is a noise issue. They have also said the module is what it is. They have also said you can send in modules and be refunded if you just cannot take the module for what it is. Has there been a post from Make Noise about this, or a conclusion that people have reached?

Re: Octatrack midi to cv

I use the Mutant Brain. I have two Sysex files I made, 4voice CV/Gate + other gates/clock intervals or 2voice CV/Gate + 2 CVs to use the Octatrack LFOs + other gates/clock intervals.

Mutant Brain does what it says on the tin.

Re: Make Noise Tempi - clock divider / multiplier?

On Tempi60 firmware and my Tempi cannot keep...tempo. It skips counts after 1 or 2 bars...sometimes 4bars, its pretty bad. The clock I use is fine because if I bypass Tempi, everything is bang on time. If I put Tempi in the clock distribution things go off. I've been advised to send two clock pulse...

Re: Best square wave VCO?

Dannysound EN129 is my favorite VCO for square shape. PHAT Just bumping this thread to quiz you on this. You have or had Frequency Central (i.e. Roland) and Oakley VCOs, right? You're saying that the EN129 has a better square wave than either of those? That would be impressive! Well, to be honest c...

Re: Behringer Mono/Poly!

Access Virus A/B/Indigo are cheap nowdays. I got an Indigo 1 for 340€. Granted it was a bargain I've seen Bs go for 300-400€. So it would be strange to "clone" those and sell them for the same cash.

Best sounding Behringer synth so far. This has the vibe and the tone. Can't say if this has SSM chips inside but that demo sounds like the 80s.
They're knocking it out of the park.

Cause it says Moog on it. Its still made of cheap Chinese parts.

Re: FM Aid or a second VCO

I have FM Aid and A-110-4 and Dannysound EN129. I really like FM Aid, its great for when you want tuned stuff with minimal fuss and play around with it modulating the CV amount of PM, to heart's content and it will always be in tune. The Doepfer A-110-4 is one of my favorite sounding VCOs and that's...

Does the DFAM have a VCO hard sync input? If the onboard VCO is free running and you're mixing in with it, a sampled kick drum without removing the low frequencies from the sample, completely, you're bound to get some phase cancellations at random intervals as the DFAM VCO is running free against t...

Might not work for everything but it's absolutely belter for techno and the like. Yes, this is the Toppobillo Multifilter the source, going into Clouds where extra notes are generated and very gently, mixed in and out. I use my Varigate 8+ for drum programming (techno). I, so far, love it. Has anyone else paired it with a Rene instead of a Voltage Block? I've heard the Voltage Blocks are hard to program melodies with? This is what got me thinking that a Rene would be a better option. I've always wanted Rene, anyw...

Re: VIDEO: WE LOVE VACTROLS - RxMx vs. Optomix V1 vs. QMMG vs. Optomix V2 vs. LxD vs. MMG vs. Verbos ATC

That Takaab doesn't sound bad at all. These videos re-affirm my own tastes too. LxD is the best sounding one for me and provides two flavors. Optomix V1 sounds better than V2 in my ears too, but the one I had, I sold due to the bleed being so audible that in the end I just stopped using it. Interest...

The more videos I watch the more this is like PP+Brains V2, in its own case. Considering how much 2xPP + Brains cost, this is not such a bad deal. Things I like: It looks cool, its hands on and immediate 2 x PP+Brains combo with the 3rd row doing Time (can the bottom row be switched to something other than "Time" and be used as another CV out?), the envelope out. Things I don't like: Touchplates (does this have the Rene mk2 touchplates?), no o...
