The Metron is only trigger/gate so no pitch CV if you need that.

Just add a Voltera to the Metron and you’ve got pitch CV.

Re: New Teenage Engineering release

Interesting design exercise. Surprised it focuses on FM radio, as at least here in the US, radio 99% sucks. I was driving yesterday, and the three radio stations that I usually listen to were all very shitty: one had a commercial, one was playing ZZ Top, and one was a coronavirus election wildfire ...

Re: NE Desmodus Versio

The jacks do loosen up after a while, just twist them out for a bit and they will be fine. But WHY? They are literally the worst feeling jacks in Eurorack. This module sits right next to my BIA which has jacks that feel about 1 million times better. In literally every other regard, NE Get everythin...

Re: Tiptop Mantis cases

I have two mantis, full. I'm thinking buying another one (or even two lol) or switch to an one and only bigger case. Anyone was in the same position? What did you do? I have 3 Mantis, two racked together with the TipTop bracket, one standalone. Have a Needham on the way as I ran out of space again....

Re: NE Desmodus Versio versus Make Noise Mimeophon

They are absolutely nothing alike, chalk & cheese. Mimeo can do a lot of interesting stuff but it’s much closer to a traditional type delay, albeit with tons of control. Desmo is a much better FSU module and can get weird really fast. Plus - one (Mimeo) is a delay with reverb capability, the other (...

Re: NE Desmodus Versio

It takes an unusual amount of pressure for me to get the patch cables into all of the CV-ins. I had to wrestle around with one last night before it finally went in. Anyone else notice this? Yes Seems like the jacks have to be broken in or something. Taking out a cable has been kinda tricky too. I t...

Re: VERBOS ELECTRONICS

I made a long-form video demo/tutorial about how I go about when patching my modular, laying the basis of a techno track in the process. I usually receive a lot of questions on instagram about some of the Verbos modules, so I mentioned most of them and how I use them. It's not a demo of any module ...

Re: anyone go from modular back in the box?

Sold all my modular stuff and three years later got back into it. The computer has its strengths, to me it’s not just the gear with modular it’s also the culture. And that’s not to say you can’t have a modular and then also use a DAW. I don’t know I found myself really missing the culture when I sol...

Re: Cwejman in 2020.

they don't sell for double. they get up to %60 over retail. %40 over is typical. buying new from a store stops all that. anytime I look, there are modules in new stock somewhere on planet earth. not all of them in the same place at the same time. but you can expect one or two just sitting there for...

Re: Cwejman in 2020.

You might want to hop onto reverb and check out the “secondary market” prices - many of the modules sell for double the base price for new. If you want to save a gigantic pile of cash, you should buy them while they are available now. Big city music has a bunch in stock right now, like five or six d...

Re: 1010 Music Bitbox - Sampler/Looper

Warning. They released a new firmware for the micro. It made things even worse. This thing is going back now. I installed the firmware, it booted and then I went to adjust the brightness (it was back at 100%) and it made all of my modules go haywire. I turned the system off, restarted and within a ...

Re: How did you pick your sequencer?

Why is it so impossible to talk only about eurorack sequencer in a eurorack thread ??? Why limit the discussion purely to sequencer modules? It’s all one continuum in the space. At the bottom of my battleship comparison , there’s a strong list of external sequencers that are very much part of...

Re: ALM Squid Salmple - 8 channel CV and audio sampler

I’ve got a very simple question hopefully… What is the shaft size of the knobs on ALM stuff (Squid, Mum M8, PE-1)? Was hoping to swap them to Rogans (like on Verbos modules) and I can’t seem to find the diameter listed anywhere.
