Re: Spare modules laying around

I like to put the modules that there's no room for in the main case into a small side case or skiff. But it leads to this problem: - "It would be cool to have a small side case so I can use these more "out-there" modules that can't justify their space in the main case. " - "Since I have a ...

Thanks everyone! I didn't realize how many VCFs are DC-coupled.

Re: Q163 Eurorack Adapter

I guess those Euro mounting ovals are tapped? Otherwise what would hold the screws in?
EDIT: Oh I see the screws on the sides of the slots now; I'm guessing there is a rail with sliding nuts or similar behind the slots.

DC coupled, resonant, Low freq VCF for CV slewing/ringing?

Hey all, I am wondering what modules are available in any format to achieve this function? I'd like a pitch CV to slew to the new CV voltage, and over shoot and ring or oscillate for a while before settling in at the new CV voltage. Just like a resonant low pass VCF does to rising or falling edges i...

Re: Modcan A format DIY Odds and Ends

Thanks! I didn't make them, but I guess Front Panel Express could manufacture them after they were designed, and maybe the folks there could explain the type of finish/anodizing?/painting? used for Modcan A format if they saw a sample. I think they'd be quite expensive, though.

Modcan A format DIY Odds and Ends

I had a chance to get around to finishing off (or at least making usable) some old projects I've had lying around. Over the years I scraped up various one-offs and projects. There's a Morley Panel that came with the Attenuators and passive (diodes and transformers) Ring Mod already there. I installe...

Re: EURO x0x-heart - Complete "Kit"

Hi All, I recently built an X0XHeart module. Here's something I found that helped during filter calibration: When the Thru-Hole Pacemaker and the SMT X0XHeart boards are joined by wire jumpers on only a few headers during calibration, it was difficult to calibrate the filter cutoff frequency per the...

Re: sawtooth (not ramp) from pulse or squarewave wave - electronic basic

The Roland GR-300 guitar synth obtained sawtooth waves this way. The discharge time is pre-set such that at low frequencies the waveform would just hit the rail and thus there was a flat section of the sawtooth wave. (I don't remember what this sounds like or if it's objectionable) At mid frequencie...

Re: Qu-Bit Chord v2

I had posed this a while ago in it's own thread. No response, so I'm posting it again here to see if any V2 users can help me out: I'm just getting familiar with my Chord V2. So far I haven't figured out how to have a chord be a 7th chord or just a triad, under voltage control during a composition. ...

Re: Triadex "The Muse" pics and sound clips.

I recall that there was a chapter about "The Muse" in the book Musical Applications of Microprocessors by Hal Chamberlin. Maybe it's just block diagrams and theory; but maybe there's some information there that could be useful for debugging.

lisa your 2-cabinet system looks to be the perfect balance; sonically vast yet reasonably portable, with room to grow, even. Do you ever take it out for gigs or jams? The Structure series cases are great! Most of my system is racked in them for portability.
