Re: SEMulation - how create a SEM-type sound?

R*S Haible Living VCO is not Moogish at all. The inspiration for this VCO was a mutation of features found in EMS and Yamaha CS80.

Yep, Hexinverter Red Dragon (Polivoks clone) keeps the bass.

Re: E370 + Morpheus

It's useful to think of the Morpheus less as a filter and more as a resonator. I use a lot for s+h flange and phase effects and many of the cubes are pingable. In fact that glassy texture is why I kept it as I none of my other pingable filters have that texture.I have used a few times with E370. It ...

Video demonstrating using the VCNO as a noise source for sample and hold. Some really interesting s+h characteristics are capable from the VCNO. I especially like the gates output.....

With the A / D option on reset, I totally don't miss having it totally sync to beat length. In fact, there is an added flexibility with warp and length. It's 10x more versatile than QPLFO - I have both and use the Zadar fair more than QPLFO.

Just getting a chance to re-visit this build. I managed to get the CD4052's soldered on. Powered it on got led activity and then smoke and it powered off. Anything else I can check re: orientation? It looks like the That300 is oriented correctly but I'm still not 100% on the Electrolytic caps as the...

Re: Coin Toss

Hi So... after spending some time with various logic modules I'm realizing I may need something more specialized to get this right. What I am looking for is something that will take two incoming clock signals that are user defined, two offset gate/trigger patterns from Varigate 8 in this instance. ...

I use Zadar all the time for percussion. Some of the tightest envelopes possible with the right vectors. Modulating the shape and vector renders very dynamic results.

Would be great to see some more 'singable' filter models as well. I love the glasses textured percussion I get when pinging some of the filter sets.

From your pictures, it's hard to tell. Higher resolution pictures would be better. One thing though is you are using LM394's instead of AS394's. LM's are obsolete and very hard to source. If you got yours from Ebay or suppliers in Hong Kong, chances are that they are fake. Also, could you tell more...
