Re: Polyend Tracker

As a long-time lover of Renoise, the arrival of Tracker is kind of like your long-time lover getting a new look. And even though they look sexy as hell, they refuse to give you what you’re used to having in bed before they got their new look. And it makes you so confused that you just masturbate. :...

This argument has already been made.
What argument?

BTW, I'm not arguing for or against anything. I'm making an observation.

Re: Behringer: practices, ethics, morals and legitimacy.

If a musician's melody is too similar to an existing melody, it's only a matter of time until the copying musician gets sued. If the design of the instrument that was used to play said melody is too similar to an existing instrument's design, the copying designer gets a pat on the back. Weird :omg:

I've never found a piece of hardware easier to produce on That's why sequencing/arranging with trackers are so much fun. There are happy accidents everywhere :omg: I don't need SD streaming, but 133 seconds of memory is very skinny for me to switch from Renoise. Yes, limitation can be great, but I ...

Schippmann VCF-02. From the manual-- Drop control – controls the loss of signal level (Drop) below the cut-off frequency (resp. passed through frequency range) when resonance increases. Range between -12 dB and 0 dB; only active at low-pass settings (LED lights up yellow) Emph control – adjusts the ...

Re: Polyend Tracker

Yeah I thought about the potential of connecting a qwerty to Tracker, but after adding a qwerty + the battery pack to power Tracker, a better alternative (for me) might be to buy a dedicated/audio streamlined Linux laptop (modem and browsers uninstalled) with a 10inch screen running Renoise. At lea...

Re: Behringer: practices, ethics, morals and legitimacy.

I don't get being mad about Behringer's release schedule or products not appearing/not getting regular social media updates. Who cares? If it arrives, buy it. If it doesn't, buy something else. So with a minimoog, a wasp, a VP-330, and a TB-303 I've saved approximately $14,000 from not having to bu...

A specific module wasn't a paradigm shift for me, rather it was the sound of analogue feedback paths, as well as experimenting with clocks and sequencers that brought me to the modular world :guinness:

Re: T-Rex Replicator knobs

Thanks!

I should have been more clear. I'm not looking to replace the original knobs with the same style, I'd like to see what my options are for different knob styles. I just want to make sure I'm looking at knobs that will fit on the shaft.

Re: Polyend Tracker

Polyend always points to Poly2 when people inquire about why they didn't include CV outs on Tracker, so I'm sure they work fine together. Poly2 is just a MIDI to CV converter.

The NDLR is cool till you realize you can’t use custom scales then it’s almost laughable. If I’m fact it will conform to custom scales within hydra synth that’s another story but I have yet to confirm this possibility
FYI, custom scales is supposedly on the to do list for NDLR.

Just curious if anyone is using the Poly 2 module with tracker. I've been pondering the possibilities of using my Tracker(when ever it arrives) with my rack. I'm interested in this as well. At this point though, it looks like there are only 5 CC's per project on the Tracker. **edit Or are the 5 ava...

Any longtime Renoise or Sunvox users pick this up? If so, whatcha think? Re: the Eurorack manufacturer COMMANDMENTS

Anyone who has run a small business knows how annoying and entitled customers are. The customer is NOT always right. In fact, they're almost always wrong. Anyone who buys anything is entitled to have an opinion about it and discuss it. I agree. I actually wasn't talking about discussions/opinions o...
