for what you want to do clearly the ms20. i've had the ms10+20 combo since they came out. cut off the keyboards, did some other mods and mounted 'm in the lid of a suitcase with a few lil' extra's (sq, lfo's, filter, borg queen): https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/userpix2/2726_korg_sans_keys_1.jpg ...

Thank you so much for the reply. The ADDAC seems to handle this very nicely, so I'm a bit surprised that the Bark Filter doesn't behave in similar manner. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJs6qdDLYis I've tried to contact Verbos but I've yet to receive reply. I'll probably just go for either the Rand...

Thanks for the reply, but this is not a clear example of what the Bark sounds like as a audio source. Has nobody ever tried to patch the outputs back to the inputs? What would the advantages of the scan/tilt CV inputs be for this particular feedback application? Can anybody try this out for me...

I've not tried, because I don't know how I'd do it anyway... I've got Belgrad, Sonic XV, Ring SM (which does not work for no input feedback btw) and Quad vca from Intellijel, which doesn't work either, when I patch output to input and wait for it to oscillate. : The vca is to amplify / control the ...

Youre right about the CV range, but I was meaning audio. I had a VCFQ and it distorted terribly, so I had to attenuate everything alot to get it to a usable range. I've not tried, because I don't know how I'd do it anyway... I've got Belgrad, Sonic XV, Ring SM (which does not work for no input feedb...

Hello again xtrasherx, I actually found a demo (https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=213814) this is exactly what I'm talking about. Sounds fantastic. It's pretty expansive though, and I prefer the interface of the Bark filter... Thank you so much for the suggestion! You think the Bark ...

Thanks for the reply, both of you! I'm aware of Dark matter and Miasma, which are both very capable of insane sound processing, but I wand a sound source to manipulate myself for those sounds, whom I can process through another effects, Dark matter for example. :hihi: The ADDAC looks great, and has C...

Industrial feedback noise patching? Filter banks? A-188-2?

Hello, sorry - I've already made an thread on the Verbos Bark filter, but to no luck, so I try again. I'm very interested in patching up some industrial noise, but I've ain't got no modular store where I'm located to try modules out, so I must once again trust in the help of other users. I know the ...

Ive watched many of your demos, and they are source of inspiration for me to spend so much money on a single device. Veru beautiful. Id really appreciate if you could do a demo of the Bark as a industrial voice, that would without doubt be the reason to push me over the edge to purchase it if it sou...

I'm talking about feeding the output of the Bark back into the input for making "industrial noise" feedback patches, like from 17:10 in this AJH filter bank video: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=ajh+filter+bank I'm hoping to achieve similar results, resonant and gnarly, but the differe...

Verbos Bark no input feedback?

How does this module handle no input metallic noise feedback patches? Can anyone share a demo? Ive got no change to try it out here but that would be some seriously fun added usability with all the cv ins and outs... Thanks!

Should I rather go for the resonant eq from random source?

Thanks for all the replies. Im considering the r*s eq - however, I used to own a vcfq and it distorted extremely much without attenuation. It was veru unpleasant to tame it. I recall there being some level differences between r*s and normal eurorack modules. Is that the case with the eq?

Thanks alot for the answers. Im totally new to feedback patching. How would I start with Ring SM and Belgrad, for example? Feeding the output of the mixer back into itself with a stackable does not produce similar results, unless Im doing something wrong - or do I have to use a mic? Ive also got qua...

How to obtain this metallic timbre with euro modules?

I hope this is the right place to ask for help for eurorack sound design? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elTSL6fp4mw 2:31 - 2:38ish and throughout the song is a very "pleasant" metallic timbre, with almost organic vibe to it. I understand Haus Arafna use the good old ms 20 alot, but I've aint got t...

Thank you so much for the reply! Well, Latencymon reports quiet a lot of latency from this particular driver. I suppose trying to deactivate it is better idea than to rename it? Use msconfig utility in Windows to find and deactivate the service. You could also try finding and renaming the file in the System32/drivers directory, then restarting. Thanks for the answer. Edit: Just wondering, have you experienced this particular problem too? Couldn't disabling a service essent...
