Re: DEAD Cocoquantus BUPFFERS

It’s strange because this question/issue has a loooooooong history here on muffs and on the FB “cool kids” group. (do a search for "Cocoquantus noise") It’s always described the same way and sometimes it’s on the left and sometimes on the right. You would think by now we would have a definitive “ h...

Re: DEAD Cocoquantus BUFFERS

Can you post a video of this? I would like to hear and see this on your COCO. Something is definitely going on with these coco's .....seems very similar to the issue I was having.

Re: Noise on left input on Cocoquantus 2

Well Shit, Dawg. Thank you for pointing me to this! Sungja YOU smart!!! :tu: This is why I keep thinking it’s a grounding issue....this is very similar to the issue I am finding in these “bad” Coco’s. And the only reason why I am saying “bad” is that when you get a good one - it’s really good... >>>...

Re: Noise on left input on Cocoquantus 2

After looking around it looks like this is the issue ( or a similar issue). Joe even brings up he thinks he has a grounding problem. ( it’s a good way to describe it since it sometimes intermittent and manifests itself similar to a grounding problem) Turns out it May be a chip issue? https://www.muf...

Re: Noise on left input on Cocoquantus 2

I understand the "quality" of these things and love it... but the noise I have on the left is at "BATCHAS" level (the video above) the other buffer and my other unit is just "CL noisey". I am trying to figure out why.....

Thanks Jimmie for chiming in!

Re: Noise on left input on Cocoquantus 2

How did people get this sorted? I am having this exact same issue on a "new" Coco2. (I have another Coco that is perfect - as far as perfect on these things go) The RIGHT coco buffer works as expected - no problem - but the LEFT one on this unit is does not want to clear (it always has LOUD noise li...

Are the “questionable build quality” units built by P or Patch Point?

Re: Where are the Benjolins?

Yep. The Epoch guy did a few runs that did not work in doepfer cases and from what I can tell they had 2017 PCB's. You need to power cycle them a few times for them to work in Doepfer cases....but in other cases with bricks - they work fine, every time. If you don't use Doepfer - don't even worry ab...

Re: Voltage Research Laboratory!! Pitt Mod......

Ok , what is random doing when you hit EDIT and press modulation button on the OSC ? Not what it says in the manual.. this seems to work on Random when you press EDIT and hit the warp button. The edit + waveform on random is talked about in the manual but EDit + Warp is not talked about ( how it eff...

Random section: is the manual on this wrong or am I missing something... What is exactly accessed on the RANDOM output when you hit Edit and hold down on the ARP section and hit WARP and what is accessed when you hit edit and Modulation. The manual explains this is not clear it looks like the both d...
