I would also like a bit more explanation on the three modes. I think this module shares the underlying design with the WMD Digital VCA, and there is some info about the different modes (albeit with different names, IIRC) on the website and in the (very brief) PDF manual: https://wmdevices.com/produ...

I take it this is just the sequencer part of the Muse, not the sound generation/speaker part.

I think I may just have to pick up a digitakt. I don't know if I misread the OP, but re: sampling the dying Baldwin: one thing (it seems to me) that a lot of newer samplers may not be ideal for is sampling each note of an instrument (or similar) with the intention of laying them out chromatically a...

I'm not sure if that would produce the exact problem you're experiencing, but did you make sure they're not meant for 1/8" TRS to 1/4" TS? (As opposed to TS > TS.)

Like this one that looks a lot like yours:

There is one from COTK, though possibly with different height for the CP modules, meaning Moon CP modules may not fit. Also, come to think of it, it's likely to be 12v. Their cases are probably only an option if you're using mainly COTK modules. The Moon cabinet looks like a much better alternative ...

Make sure no control voltages are getting through to that trigger input above the range it wants to see. The Tsunami's trigger inputs are connected directly to the Cortex M7 processor, so going anywhere over 3.3V will kill the thing. I plan on making mine a switch only version (toggle and momentary...

Very interesting, thank you. The jack is normalized to a DC voltage (in this case +5V from the Tsunami board but could be anything) Where on the board do you find +5v? Could this just as well be the +15v at VIN? This voltage drives the transistor to connect the two contacts on the Tsunami header. So...

Thanks! It should work just fine. Make sure it is filtered well and is DC. I've got a Dotcom QPS1 (some kind of Power One supply, I think), with a DC Power Output of +15V@1500ma, -15V@1500ma, +5V@6000ma. Filtered well, that I'm not sure of. The thing seems to be rather hungry...according to the Spar...

Powering the Tsunami WAV Trigger from the modular

Hi, is it safe/advisable to power the Tsunami Wav Trigger from the modular (I'm thinking about making a panel for it...)? Can I just connect the +15v and the ground from the Dotcom/MOTM power connector to VIN and GND on the PCB, leaving -15v and +5v out of it? https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/userp...

Yes that will do it. Although I'd make the CV input socket normalised to 0V to minimise any interference when there's nothing plugged into it. Thanks. Adding a Frequency CV Input to the Yusynth/Oakley S/H

I like changing the sampling frequency/rate of the S/H live, but if I want to control it via CV I have to tie up a separate LFO that has an FM input and use that as an external clock. Which seems a shame, seeing as the S/H modules all have internal clocks... I've looked at the different S/H modules ...
