Re: Coco 2 - ground jack and internal connections
The two wires was probably connected to a battery at some point. Red wire is ground, the other you can just leave.

I made a rollz5, mrGrassi, and Gerrasic organ kiosk into an old passive speaker that i found at the dump years ago.

I was thinking hydrophones at first but these look great too. Having options of isolating strings sounds wonderful.

I also think the colour scheme of hot and cold is only for the plumbutter because the cocoquantus has grey for output and the organs have grey for input.

Re: stuber DDD anticipation station
When he gets to the brown jack :hihi: So i understand the purpose of random colours better now even though he also talks about the prefered way of having touch nodes also and no colours. I guess you could always use bare banana plugs and have best of both worlds, and then you can also only touch the...

Re: The Deerhorn: A Ciat-Lonbarde podcast!
Listened to the whole album just now, and wow what a ride! Managed to keep it together but still gave me some deep deep emotions of pain and relief. I thought i was done with ambient music like this for years because usually i give this kind of music a couple of minutes before getting bored and turn...

Re: The Deerhorn: A Ciat-Lonbarde podcast!
I think the response to music is pretty individual and timing is a key factor as to how you react or relate to it. I have had some difficulties with relations lately and the frequencies in that piece really hit me hard. Maybe the composer have no such intent but you can never know with music and how...

Re: The Deerhorn: A Ciat-Lonbarde podcast!
Enjoyed the last episode, too bad the music piece seem to be cut or it faded way to quick. I should check the links i guess. Thanks! Which music piece? Or at which point in the show rather? At the end there was a piece of music which i guess was the deerhorn in action and it hit me real hard with e...

Re: stuber DDD anticipation station
I believe the choices Peter made with the hot and cold colours of the banana jacks really makes a lot of sense. Yellow is the hottest for a reason so i tend to be a little bit careful with those. Why he choose to make the ovals with banana jacks in a random colour does not make sense too me, but if ...

Re: stuber DDD anticipation station
I dont think you are missing anything, just that the others, srine and fyrall had speakers underneath and i suspected the stuber didnt or maybe all the new ovals are missing them now?? According to the info i have found all these ovals have androgynous patchpoints so any node can be in or out. Sorry...

Re: Cleaning knobs faders yellowing
So i tried it out with a tiny amount of developer and some sunshine but the days a getting shorter now and i only got like 3 hours of direct sun. From what i can see there was a tiny improvement and no damage to the plastic. Tomorrow i will try to get some uv lights instead and try some more.

Re: Cleaning knobs faders yellowing
Thanks guys!
i will look more into retrobright in the future when these issues arise again but for now i think the hair developer and some sunshine will do. I go slowly and keep checking to avoid damage.
Now how to get that sunshine to come around?

Cleaning knobs faders yellowing
So i picked up a cheap used mixer the other day for $10. It is a Phonic mm1705. I dont need it at the moment but thought maybe i could use it for something later and offcourse the price really motivated me. Last week i started to clean it up a bit, removing the dust, sticky tape residues and took of...
