Re: normal sidrax behavior?

And play the barres gently. The piezo sensors can brake easily and act strange if you press too hard on them.

Re: normal sidrax behavior?

Does it happen to one barre or all over?? Press or release or both? The ghost tone problems is well known and it does not seem like that is the problem here. Many years ago i had something similar happen to my sidrassi after a long session. I changed power supply and never happened again. These inst...

Re: COCOQUANTUS 2 "GETTING STARTED MANUAL"

Maybe if you slowed down the delay with the ground to speed affect input you could get more time in the buffer. Never tried the ground to speed affect before but will do if i get around to it the next couple of days.

Re: COCOQUANTUS 2 "GETTING STARTED MANUAL"

Iron cross into the speed affect makes delay shorter and more reverb like.

Re: COCOQUANTUS 2 "GETTING STARTED MANUAL"

On the original cocoquantus with screw nodes you could touch the inner nodes but with bananas you need a chord to do this. Connect a chord to the green banana and touch the other end to change state.

Re: COCOQUANTUS 2 "GETTING STARTED MANUAL"

Well orange or grey to green with each leaf. State of other oscillators is also important. I try to keep red and blue mostly off. Switches i also try to keep audio for the oscillators i listen too and lowest range for the others but this is something you must experiment with yourself. The quantussy ...

Re: COCOQUANTUS 2 "GETTING STARTED MANUAL"

I often patch within each leaf of the quantussy and try to keep it minimal and try to mix several oscillator for listening. You can stack several oscillators together without any problems. Chaos should be up and frequency to taste. Also experiment with am inputs. It is difficult to understand exactl...

Re: What’s your favourite Tocante?

I had all the tocantes at some point but kept my thyris, bistab and karper. These 3 are the most responsive and have the deepest range of sounds. The bass versions are great if you want to make some deep minimal drones but besides that i found nothing special about them. Some day maybe i will have a...

Someone else wondering about all the prototypes in the background?

What is that red module at the 20 minute mark? All four colors of banan jacks and 3fw looks promising. Maybe a dual bugcrusher/sample and hold?
