Another brand to look at are the "Eagle Plastic Devices". I get them from Mouser.

These are great for small spaces: 450-2023-GRX

Re: Malekko Quad Envelope and/or AD/LFO - "Clicking"

I ended up replacing my AD/LOFO with a Quadrax since the clicking was driving me nuts.. I really love the Quadrax. It packs a huge punch for the amount of HP.

Re: DIY Trade Thread [ Parts, PCBs, Panels ]

I put this in the "Want to buy" section also, minus all the PCBs for trade of course. I just realized I was sitting on these PCBs and could offer up some trades. I'm looking for 2 9mm B10k Dual Gain pots for my Miasma build. With Thonk not shipping to the US right now, I'm having issues finding them...

Re: Neutron sound Dust of Time.

Thanks Altitude909 for the help. Just to be clear, because I am still having some issues. I am using O&C References to supply the 1v to the V/OCT input on the DOT. I have zeroed out all the calibration menu options. I'm having a hard time understanding what "press the lower right button on the left...

Re: Neutron sound Dust of Time.

Ok I feel really dumb asking this, I have only made 2 oscillators in the past and I am having a stupid time trying to wrap my head around calibrating them. I have the tools but don't know exactly how to use them for the task at hand. DMM, oscilloscope, quantizer ect.. Can someone please tell me how ...

Re: Cleaning jacks

@3vcos looking at your avatar reminded me, I have used pipe cleaners and Deoxit to clean 1/4" jackes in many tube amps and had good results. Some pipe cleaners have harder bristles built in that can help scrub.

Re: 1010 Music Bitbox - Sampler/Looper

There used to be some scripts floating around to help make the XML files for programs. I messed around with this one for sometime but it never worked correctly for me https://github.com/ywwg/bitbox-editor

Anyone know of a app/utility/script to aid in making programs/kits on a Mac/PC ?

There is also this: http://www.circuitnet.com/experts/52525.html I have been in the IT field for more that 25 years and there are always warnings like this. Tech changes, tools change and ideas change. I just wonder how much of these "warnings" are from another time when things were way more delicat...

Thanks.. I was wondering how much misconception there was on the subject and if it was more opinions over facts. I will definitely start looking into this again. Seems like the quickest and great way to get good results.

I really want to love this.. my hang ups are the screen size and the use of the plastic jacks. I hope these jacks are better than the MK3 and MK4 I have had. I know you all have heard it before, cable movement/touching just made to much damn noise. I also hope there is a web editor or no confusing t...

But FedEX, mostly has been getting to me in 2 days.. Mouser, Arrow, Digikey etc.. Pretty amazing. I know FedEX is more expensive tha...
