Re: Combining your Modular with standalone synth's

I rarely use my eurorack without other synths though it’s mostly for sound processing these days. I have a handy 4 channel Land Devices mixer that I run my Perfourmer, Memotron and Lyra-8 into and that goes into my modular. That mixer has enough gain to go directly into euroland, but sometimes I use...

ADDAC604 Dual Filter

Looks like a awesome 6hp multimode stereo filter! Hoping these are available in the US soon.

Re: Tell me some good Dance/Club tracks from the 90s

It’s probably not a good thing that pretty much all I listened to in the 90s was dance music in one form or another, but there was so much great stuff. I promise I’ll stop after this... https://youtu.be/FwxpMIEZ9fg https://youtu.be/xUSQYUdfMRU https://youtu.be/ik9cExHOazw https://youtu.be/r8uKbprFjI...

You could probably do the same with zvex fuzz factory euro but i haven't personally used that combo.
Rings sounds amazing through Fuzz Factory too!! I was shredding with that combo and a Linnstrument earlier today. I was tempted to put a strap on the Linnstrument and really get into it.

Re: Zoia is now modular Euroburo

Can any Zoia users give me an idea for how much CPU is available? I would use it to do things like cv clock mangling networks of multipliers/dividers/logic gates etc. I could easily see running a bunch of internal modules at a time. At what point do things start to max out? If the msrp is what I’ve...

Re: Need some hardware sequencer recommendations.

Yes, Pyramid in Seq mode will do this. Loopop does a great in depth tutorial on the Pyramid and lays out the Seq mode quite nicely. Pretty easy to find V1 Pyramids around $450 used too. Only difference in the versions is the enclosure and the touch pad on the V2 is recessed. I actually prefer the fe...

Re: Benjolin love

i've watched a bunch of benjolin demos and looking for behavior like the drippy plops here around :40 seconds in. the stand alone units seem able to do this with ease, but the euro module videos i've seen don't seem able to do this.. is that right? are the filters different? I’ve had the Epoch and ...

Re: Mellotron options

I recently picked up a Memotron desktop and I’m pretty blown away after just one day with it. I didn’t know how I would feel about all the extra features (envelope control, panning, fx), but I find it all quite useful. I like the way the “frames” work too. I think it sounds great and playing it with...

Re: Expanding on Endorphin.es Shuttle System?

I had this going on for a while, but ended up going in a different direction and replacing most of it. Aside from the fun of playing them, the Rene and Tempi seemed a bit overkill with all the Shuttle Control is capable of (with some outside help). I did hang onto the Shuttle Control and enjoy using...

Re: What sparked your entry into eurorack?

When I realized how easy it could be to integrate a few interesting oscillators with my DSI Pro 2 I started experimenting. The Pro 2 is long gone, but it was definitely the spark.

I love the Benjolin and currently have a diy module like the one in this video and been happily using it without much understanding of what’s actually happening under the hood. Lately I have been digging in and trying to learn all I can and I’m feeling a little confused with this patch. Specifically...

Right on, I’m guessing it’s possible to attach my Ansible w/i2c to TTv1 from the back with no issues. I’m just going to focus on the script side for now and worry about that other stuff later.

I think the GR-1 was meant to be more of a synthesizer and some people want it to be a deep sampler/mangler. Open ended stuff like Norns or ER-301 are better suited for more options and complexity, but also a much steeper learning curve. I was able to get cracking on the GR-1 within minutes of plugg...

Greetings. I’m wondering how the people who own one are getting on with theirs. I’m primarily interested in one for the performance aspect: grab a GR-1, an effects unit, and go. Especially now that it’s multitimbral, I could imagine working with it live. However, I’m concerned about the 2 minute li...
