The fh2 only has 10 outputs though.
The FH2 can have up to 64 outputs.

Re: Need help running WaveEditor in linux

Your issue is that you are using a 32 bit system. The only way to remedy that is to use a 64 bit one.

Sorry. Debian will run on anything, but there is no guarantee that it will run everything, especially modern software.

Re: Need help running WaveEditor in linux

It most likely does not have a 32 bit version because one wasn't made for it. And my guess is that it isn't as simple as just compiling for 32 bit... Otherwise they would have it available for you already. You could try emulating a x64 os through a vm and running it through there. Performance will b...

The site says anything from the last 2 years with regard to the Linux os. What kernel are you on and how foss is your system? You could be missing some environment stuff, etc.

Re: 1010music modular - cautionary tale

How can your product be successful if you release it half baked, promise users you will develop it, and then don't? That's why it's not successful. If the Toolbox had implemented even a quarter of the suggestions on the 1010 forum, it would be more full-featured than many other euro sequencers and ...

Re: 1010music modular - cautionary tale

Let me just say that I can understand both sides of the argument here. How to keep a company a float and put food on the table is not easy. So I'll say that I did not like that the focus has always been on more profitable products, but have accepted that this is just a reality one has to deal with. ...

I used to think about a lot of these things and was pretty opinionated on what companies should be doing. Now of course, I just support the companies I think are doing it right. More important than mob thought, is what you apply your spending potential to. Also I think being able to understanding th...

Thank you all for the help! I'll give it a whirl, and report back here with questions or my accomplishments. This is my current setup, plus a SSP: https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/963425 But this is what I'm trying to get down to, plus a SSP: https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1067897

Using Eurorack to make a crunchy hardcore-ish guitar sound

Does anyone have any idea of how you could synthesize a guitar sounds complete with palm muting? Example of what I'm trying to mimic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cnwp_uY8BE All of this would be a good reference, but the first 40 seconds in particular. The obvious thing would be to use a guitar,...

Re: The continued pursuit of my Ultimate Synth

I have found that working with the SSP is a pain when it is in the middle of the rack. I moved it back to a pod60. This also means I can take it and work with things separately from the rest of the rack. I sold my ER-301 only to come back to it. I really respect the way O|D thinks about modules and ...

Re: Is the cost of a module worth it?

I think the cost is justified in that modular allows you to build a custom instrument. The work being put into the modules is real and deserves to be compensated for.

I totally agree that by saving and not living outside of your means, you can really make any hobby affordable.

Man I really hope anybody who creates anything these days has learned that the internet is a crap place for criticism. I'm sure eurorack manufacturers are very keen on this fact as well.

I’m surprised it took so long for anyone to say something about this. I’m friends with Scott/dude with the euro rig in the video. Helped him track down some of the rarer modules in that rig actually. One of the kindest souls in the industry. Maybe THE kindest. I’ve got a lot of friends who do the l...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdJS11C8LA0 That's rad. :tu: I was going to use this as a way to mock those who are afraid eurorack is going mainstream, but instead I hope, especially during this time, that this helps drive additional sales to all of the excellent eurorack manufacturers out there! I have not, but mainly because I haven't had time to continue looking. Things have changed up a bit on the system, and I need to detail that still. Just need the time. Re: 4ms Row Power Nightmare (and ALM Pip Slope)

The row powers do their job. (That is not a defense of them btw.) In systems that are purely analog, you'd never see an issue I'd expect. Digital is much more sensitive. Your Mordax is no exception. Not to mention that standards for power regulation between modules are similar to the wild west.

Re: 4ms Row Power Nightmare (and ALM Pip Slope)

In short digital modules are more sensitive to power flucation than analog modules. The power standard in eurorack are pretty loose. If you really want to fix the problem now and for any new modules you get, you need to get something like the LIBB powered bus boards. I use row power as well and I us...

Just added a People’s Choice panel for the ER-301 on modulargrid. Seeing my module in another panel type was really testing my OCD traits 😄
Now all we need is the Nostalgia version that is not angled wrong, and all of us suffering with OCD will be able to rest.

All Rossum modules and the Orthogonal Devices ER-301 are my obvious answers to this thread.

the 301 in particular has a very satisfying workflow and use. You can see the attention and care that went into all aspects of the product.
