Re: The Man with the Red Steam question...

Thx, that makes sense When you patch the rolls into the ultrasound the 3s sound a bit uneven and the 4s sound more symetrical. How are you clocking the mwtrs? Because i can‘t seem to find a way in which the rolls are not somehow indirectly clocking the mwtrs. im not saying the rollz are influencing...

Re: The Man with the Red Steam question...

why does it feel like the ultrasounds have some influence over the MWTRS even when they are not patched together?? Do you include the Rolls section into your definition of the Man With The Red Steam? Because on the pb2 webpage MWTRS is defined as the sequencer with the noise section and not the rol...

Re: NEW DOUBLE KNOT

Just got a Double Knot V2, could someone tell me what cable is used for the clock in and out. Is it just a eurorack cable? I am looking to sync with my modular and also to my 1010 Blackbox which didn't seem to work. The Blackbox expects 4 pulses per quarter or a pulse per 16th note and not sure wha...

Re: Plumbutter: 3 roll and 4 roll help

i was just trying to decipher the labeling for "3a" vs "3b" as well as "4a" vs "4b" - top would be 3/4 a and then bottom ones would be 3/4 b

correct?

Re:

a nice rollz feedback loop will provide a wide swath of tones 3a=>4a=>3b=>4b=>3a (interconnecting them further as you please) orange out from any of them into an ultrasounds green input I like sampling the pitched sound that can result into a casio sk1 I like your method well described a vs b does ...

Re: NEW DOUBLE KNOT

the snappiness of the envelopes are what's keeping mine around, I love how sharp it is, particuarly pitted against most of my other banana gear (Ciat, Mrotzronium), but I used to sometimes run the DK through the A/V Dog inputs of my plumbutter, which would cut them off w a long attack sometimes, an...

Re: Mutable Instruments Marbles Random Sampler

second question is regarding the new update that turns it into the harmonic oscillator and everything else that came along with it. If you did that update and now go to the x generator section and hold down the output voltage range button to be able to select your preset scale the button blinks and...

Re: Mutable Instruments Marbles Random Sampler

I don't have a Marbles yet (waiting for the 5U version atm) but when I look into the manual it seems to me that you have overlooked half of the information. It sais that "the Y generator, by default, is a smooth, full-range (-5V to +5V), random source that is clocked at 1⁄16 the rate of X2." You ca...

Re: Mutable Instruments Marbles Random Sampler

i have two questions first question, the Y generator section of the manual it says the y generator is clocked at 1/16th the rate of X2 (ok i got that) "these settings can be modified by holding the M button and adjusting the RATE(division factor relative to X2 from 1/64 to 1), SPREAD, BIAS and STEPS...

Re: Mutable Instruments Marbles Random Sampler

Hey all, apologies if this has been answered already but I have a question about sampling external CV. I've got a little eight step sequence going into Spread with the external processing button set to on, and Marbles is working well at generating variations of this sampled input on x2, but x1 and ...

Re: Plumbutter 2 quick start

Just noticed last night and hat my 1/8” out on top is not as tight a fit as the 1/8” ins on the bottom. The connection will slide out with less effort than it will with the ones on the bottom. Is this just something normal or should i be concerned and have to send it back to be repaired eventually??...
