The p600 has a great tone to my ears. :despair:
I agree, it sounds pretty good to me. Maybe not the most remarkable sounding poly I've heard, but definitely very good.

Really, really want this to turn out good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnoZoLZDjPo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFkV4Mt21o4 TBH the first one sounds boring...and the second one shows what most people already knows: ANYTHING sounds great thru the Strymon Big Sky...I have one and can put the u...

Re: Ensoniq Lovers Unite

I'm more of a Bob Yannes SID and DOC fan in general. I haven't owned the ESQ or SQ80, but a close friend had the SQ80, and I've always greatly admired its sound. Got to borrow it for a while at one point. I always liked the way the DP series effects sounded too. I always liked the VST based ...

Re: 1010music Bluebox - Compact Digital Mixer/Recorder

Edit: got it working with the help of an immediate response from the 1010 forum. it's pretty easy, but i just haven't really played with mixers much, and also I'm kind of dumb. Just (to send to output 2 only) turn down the volume fader but set output 2 to pre fader, and tweak the output 2 send for ...

Re: 1010music Bluebox - Compact Digital Mixer/Recorder

Must ask, have you noticed how aggressively tight the audio jacks are? I feel like I must use herculean strength to unplug a cable from one of the inputs. The 3.5mm are tight-ish on mine, but I got all new cables for it, so maybe my batch of cables just fits well. I didn’t feel like I was forcing t...

I just like blue. Oh and I foresee that some sucker will come along doing a YouTube cover of that stupid 90’s eurodance blue song with the blue 2600 clone. Blue is enough all on its own :tu: Extra bits, more whiz and/or bang is nice too. I’m on an unspecified list for a Blue Marvin. In fact it coul...

Re: Behringer VCS3

How many angels.. But still no one's commenting on the very real difference in use between the matrix with long pins as originally designed, and the too-short version Behringer went with. Edit: Those types of things will actually affect how you *actually* use it. Compared to the originals. Regardle...

Re: 1010music Bluebox - Compact Digital Mixer/Recorder

I just got a chance to start playing with mine a bit last night, though only for about 30 minutes  Still, in that short time I was able to set it up how I wanted, name the tracks, connect some synths, apply some effects, play with the mix, and so far it sounds incredibly nice. So much so, that ...

I have a pair of Adam Audio T8V and they’re a good value. i find them very neutral. Personally, id like to upgrade to the A8X but these are serving my purposes well so no reason to change other em. I've got the T7V and they're great, especially for the price. They do need to be out from the wall a ...

Why would you look up 'money laundering' in a dictionary? The dictionary is for single words. What you really need is an encyclopedia... ;)

Has anybody analyzed the difference in smd parts used in the Korg 2600FS and the Behringer 2600. Give there both are smd id be curious what it is that makes such a perceived difference in them. It’s going to come down to the quality of the components used in the audio path. Original Blue Marvins an...

So, I agree that having, using, contemplating fake nuts is ridiculous and stupid. I would not buy something with them period. However, on the alignment thing, I always build with all jack, switch, etc. nuts perfectly aligned. Never thought that would make someone suspicious.

The mini doesn't appear to be rack mountable. I'm still in B camp for sure. The B version just seems to check a lot of boxes for me. I also like that AMS was involved in development. It sounds very good (even the base version) and now with the new Blue/Grey ones, it's even cooler. More or less unde...

Hydrasynth.

I haven’t been so happy with a synth purchase since the Waldorf XT/XTk(s) I had or the Q. It’s absolutely amazing!

In fact, I bought the desktop, and now want the keys too, so I will have two of them, and do not think it’s at all redundant.

No noise here either. Stereo exporting is also working fine for me so far. I haven’t tried individual stem output though because I haven’t heard that it’s fixed yet. When you say stereo exporting... do you mean the full mix-down? Correct. That seems to be working fine for me. I exported two tracks(...
