Poster skkatter (aka splitradix on YouTube) recently did a fantastic tutorial focused on CK Pattern mode. A true tutorial walking through the menus and breaking down "hot keys" where applicable. I found it super informative:

Thanks, monads!
Anyone know when Alex might start posting alternate pre-set patch banks? Morning Strategy posted that he was working with Alex and had sent along his pre-set patch bank. Still love a lot of sounds from his demo video - would love to jam with some of those!

Re: Sonic Potions - Penrose Quantizer DIY Kit
I don't see the firmware wav file anywhere.... I actually compiled and outputted the wav file on my machine using float32's instructions. You can download it from my google drive here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1v8viPzc71rKZpG2KEGEn6FSZmoNGqsRK/view?usp=sharing It worked on both of my builds....

Re: Twisted Electrons MEGAfm
Got my MegaFM yesterday (super fast shipping from France to the US!). I've had most of the day today to mess around with it. As many others have noted it's definitely gritty and full of character. As Sir Ruff noted earlier there is a lot of interplay between the master volume, total level, and even ...

Just got my shipping notice today! I ordered pretty late (April 19th), so Alex is definitely cranking through the orders. Very psyched to get it in hand!

Re: Twisted Electrons MEGAfm
Looks like these are maybe starting to ship? (At least promo versions for demos). Great no talking demo from Metunar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=6&v=wWsvdZY3iQg&feature=emb_logo I ended up going in for the pre-order. Very psyched to jam with it when it arrives. Should be a great spr...

Re: Battery or solar powered eurorack? Backpack case?
Finally got around to wiring up this portable battery-powered skiff case: IMG_2717.jpg It's a 4MS Pod60. Power is supplied by three 18650 batteries via this Dayton Audio board. I ended up having to desolder the DC jack on the battery board - but I added an external one via the bare wire connectors o...

I just had a thought. ALM should make this and call it "the Homer". Green knobs where needed! Looks like ALM is doing a sampler! No green knobs - but I think it hits all the marks on the previous poster's list, except setting the Key. It might do that too, but just no immediately apparent from the ...

Poster Boogie has done a couple projects (MiniP7, MP7, Clap-a-trap) where he provided pre-populated SMD boards. Not sure how much it added to the overall cost of the boards. I don't really have a stock of SMD parts at this point anyway - so I found it pretty convenient. I still put together my own c...

By instructions, do you refer to the manual found kind of hidden on page 9 of the original thread (Version 1.02)? Or is there a newer one somewhere?? Boogie actually sent a new version of the manual (same format as the old thread) out via email on 7/12. The current version is 2.02. I'm sure if you ...

The cowbell only has 1 trigger and both frequencies are one sound. Ah! That makes sense! I had the same experience as Jaidee and was a little confused about the "high cow bell" sound / trim pot, but to be honest - I didn't find that I even had to use the "high cow bell" trim pot to get an accurate ...

Could you try soldering your 5M resistor in place and see if it fixes the oscillation problem? I tried both cleaning my board with Isopropyl Alcohol and adding the 5M resistor. While there was improvement - the noise is still present. Where the noise took up just over 1 bar at 5ms, with the 5M resi...
