Re: New AKAI "FORCE" standalone MPC / grid controller

Came here to share my excitement for this update! Yeah, there are still things that are missing, but there is already so much to explore and use in this huge update, and it shows that Akai is dedicated on bringing things forward with the Force. So I think the rest of the features are just an update a...

Re: New AKAI "FORCE" standalone MPC / grid controller

Just chiming in as an Force user: I love this machine. I have never been so productive with a machine, and I tried loads of them. This ticks all the boxes I need. Sure there are some shortcomings but all the other gear I used had way more shortcomings I couldn't deal with, and Deluge was a nightmare...

Re: Roland TR-06, TR-6s, TR-606 (cloud)

The TR-6s is a must buy for me! I had the TR-8s but I couldn’t really afford to have such a large piece of gear as a drummachine in my studio, so the 6s is absolutely what I was waiting for!

Hint: does walmart carry 365 different colors of chemically-flavored dyed corn flakes all manufactured by the same company because the consumers demanded it?
Exactly my point, someone buys it, supply creates demand, as they say... or was it demand creates supply... :slapfight:

Re: Twisted Electrons MEGAfm

Just pulled the trigger on this one! Plenty of clean FM options these days( my Modx6 and Digitone). I am loving the grit on this guy. Cant wait! Exactly my thought. I actually am into the grit. There are times where clean FM can just feel boring so its a nice contrast to that. I find when I make pa...

Re: Behringer: practices, ethics, morals and legitimacy.

Until now I haven’t bought any Behringer products other than some cheap studio rack gear for minor tasks. I do find most of the things they do extremely boring and helluva unsexy... I really don’t see any danger from Behringer other than deliver cheap ass products to home studio musicians that can’t...

Re: Behringer EFX clones in Eurorack?

Well, as of now this was pitched as a possible idea, not something they are already working on, if they do listen to their users I think they could make this work at a low price point, but they'd have to put some work in it. I'm not totally uninterested but there are hundreds fo more flexible and ex...

Behringer EFX clones in Eurorack?

From this article: https://www.gearnews.com/behringers-lat ... -eurorack/

I‘m not sure what the point is... all of these would need CVability. There are some with EXP inputs, but that‘ll be uber basic for ER... but the proposed price sure is 👅

MFB Tanzbär lite MIDI Thru Question/Problem

Hi! I’m having an issue with my Tanzbär Lite. It doesn’t seem to work as a true MIDI Thru, because the only thing that can be sent through MIDI thru is the Clock. Is this correct? I wanted to route my BeatstepPRO through the Tanzbär into my VolcaFM, but other than Play/Pause and Clock there’s nothin...

I'm still struggling with the fact that it's only one effect at a time and that the hands-on controls are not really that hands-on. I know the effects are stellar, but the H9 is really more of a glorified VST/DSP platform. What will change my opinion about it, knowing that I am more of the boutique ...

I'm still gathering my jaw around my studio, it dropped that hard when watching the Cš-L tutorial video. The sounds that were coming out of it, without any patching are just bonkers. I had an order I canceled immediately to order an CS-L.

Changed things a bit. Had to cancel an order when i found the Cš-L... that thing is so massively awesome. The Filter 8 has to wait until later, when i have filled the purse again.

Holy Shit. Did you actually buy all of those at once? Pretty nice and unique choices too. Yep. I sold like a shitload of stuff here and on Reverb and bought new or used modules. My old modular was driving me mad, I needed an overhaul. I hope I'll dig the new ones. But as far as I researched and all...

With the ER-301 there's always a need for controllers and sequencing. A lot of people like the ER-101; I'm a Teletype fan myself (it can send a whole lot of control signals to ER-301 via the i2c connection). Oscillators and filters are kind of too personal a choice to throw out there IMHO. I'd thin...

My Dream Modular is kinda empty... (Expert advice)

I basically have ticked all the boxes I've ever wanted to tick. But now I'm not sure what I want. All the modules I have right now (all those on the right side) are perfect for my workflow and offer a plethora of options. What I need now are some suggestions on mid-priced, mid- to small-sized module...

The thing with the ER-301 and beginner friendliness, I have long hiatus between my modular times due to work and other hobbies, so getting back to an, let's say, Streams, means I need to check the manual, not so with the ER-301. Everything's there, everything is clear once you check how all can be s...
