Re: Modcan Touch sequencer thoughts

I have a feeling both of our issues could be saved by a re-flash of the software. Problem being Modcan aren't operating anymore and the firmware just isn't available anywhere. Its built on the PIC platform so wouldn't be that hard to flash.

Re: Qu-Bit Bloom

Sorry if I'm not understanding the thread, but what sequencer tunes your VCO's? Surely its normal to have them set to a common pitch first? Of course you need to tune your oscillator first, but then I would expect it to work like Intellijel Scales does. So that when I change the root of the scale f...

Re: Ryk M185 Sequencer - per step repeat and gate mode

No problem Ryk just double checking, I have plenty of leds! Great work, I was testing it last night and is really fun, the split and cv add functions really give this plenty more flavour to my metropolis :)

Re: Ryk M185 Sequencer - per step repeat and gate mode

Built mine today, fairly straight forward, my kit gained a resistor but was missing an led! luckily the bi-colour leds from mutable builds are the same. One question, how accurate is the calibration procedure and the cv output? With the calibration procedure I managed to get within a couple decimal ...

For those interested in trying the 16osc modded firmware here you can find the bootloader and sequencer .hex files. I've already flashed and quick random is very useful :yay: https://www.dropbox.com/s/t3rtbp93m72fbrb/bootloader.hex?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/s235zeaw6eywr4p/sequencer.hex?dl=0 :...

I have just discovered that recent updates to iOS and Android seem to have broken the Aira Customizer software on both my iPad and my phone! I cannot get the app past the starting screen on iPad OS 13.2, and on my Samsung phone running Android 9 I can run the App but it won't reprogram the Bitrazer...

Pretty Sucky as it still has issues that mean its not really a functioning v1.0 module as promised. If your lucky somebody qualified may be interested in messing with the firmware as it didn't exactly sell thousands of units that is until he releases the hardware files then the builder community MAY...

Grand terminal and black noir modules share fx software by the looks of things and they are both STM based like mutable modules. I’d guess the milkyway is the same.

I don’t really want to add to the hype, but have to admit that the NG is amazing. It makes anything FM’d sound fantastic (eg. Akemie’s Castle, telharmonic, etc.) I want another one. TBH, I’m not really getting the hype. I mean, it’s sounds great?, that’s cool. Build quality is super high? Also cool...

"The latest version of Assimil8or software is 1.11_190917 (released September 23, 2019). This release fixes a bug that prevented Assimil8or from loading more than 1000 sample “sides” (a mono sample is one side, a stereo sample is two sides). Consequently, you could not load more than 500 stereo sam...

That's an interesting distinction hyena. I think a little differently: For me modules like the hertz donut or plaits don't make sense if I have a module like the SSP or 301. Just because those modules can do everything smaller modules can do and can do it better, at least potentially. (If not now, ...
