Re: Westlicht PER|FORMER Sequencer (DIY)

ohhh i get you now. that makes sense. you'd have to sacrifice a track to do that now and this seems like a reasonable feature request to make.

Re: Westlicht PER|FORMER Sequencer (DIY)

Question - How do I send a reset out to other sequencers and determine the timing of such? Doesn't seem to exist in the manual but this has to exist right? i believe that's under the shift + clock page, or as a general project setting. haven't had mine on in a while, but there's definitely a way. Y...

Re: O|D ER-301: Sound Computer (Temporarily Unavailable)

like others have said, it's already super capable. i personally wouldn't care if the CPU is never able to be upgraded. i use it mostly for sample mangling/granular, sine waves, FM units made by Joe (in the Accents framework), and other things over the past 4 years. it's incredible just as a cv contr...

mostly because it's $20 less and doesn't have the labels on the function buttons. the mini mk1-3, S, X, Pro, and MK2 are all supported.

Re: Westlicht PER|FORMER Sequencer (DIY)

Does anyone on here would like to recommend a builder that DIY’d their Westlicht Performer? There are 4 Westlicht Performers in the 'used' section at Ctrl Mod right now. I bet they will tell you who made them if you ask and that they aren't used. Psyched for this 1.40 release! ...make that 3 in Ctr...

In theory the discontinued RME HDSPe ExpressCard is what you want. I’ve seen it outright crash laptops I had but it’s worked flawlessly in others. I never tried the adapter.

Re: Tesseract Modular Sweet Sixteen

I wouldn't hesitate at all in getting one of these. It's incredible and the inputs are a fantastic addition. The manual/build guide link very clearly shows how to modify the CC values. Additionally, I can't recommend Pierpaolo/RTFM on ModularGrid marketplace enough as far as builders go. They can ge...

agreed. different speeds on diff tracks isn't that bad. also it's really worth checking out the Westlicht Performer.

Re: Westlicht PER|FORMER Sequencer (DIY)

I did get my Performer finally (built by Todd Sines) and actually it's very well made with the exception of one F4 button that doesn't click nicely and a slightly bent panel (which i've basically fixed). That may all have been due to shipping. Really it's a fantastic sequencer and reminds me of a sm...

Re: Westlicht PER|FORMER Sequencer (DIY)

Whatever you do, don't (try to) buy one from Helic.al / Todd Sines on Reverb. They will miss all their stated deadlines and not respond to any communication unless its to deny a refund request. Now they claim they shipped it yesterday despite USPS not having any item from them... Look at the other R...

Re: MMF-1s vs MMF2 sonic differences?

I may be half-remembering this, but back when I was on fb and the Cwejman user group, Wowa indicated something about just boosting the gain after or using the other input. He didn't seem too concerned, but this was also a long time ago.

Re: MMF-1s vs MMF2 sonic differences?

I own an MMF-1 and I find that the output is somewhat faint compared to my other filters. Does anyone else have this experience? Curious if the MMF-1s is louder... yeah that's definitely a thing on the MMF-1 and an effect of the overall circuit design. my typical workaround is to mult audio input 1...

I just got my EME in the mail. Has another else noticed that the cable to attach it to the module only allows the expander to sit on the left side of the module?
