Re: Qu-Bit Nebulae V2 USB not working

You are correct. First and easiest thing to check and what you hope is the problem. :)

Re: Qu-Bit Nebulae V2 USB not working

UPDATE - FIXED. Removed the Pi to check continuity with a multi-meter from the front panel USB to the USB adapter on the back - all good. The problem was most likely that where Pi sits on the main board there is only a layer of insulating tape protecting the Pi USB casing from solder points on the m...

Qu-Bit Nebulae V2 USB not working

Howdy - I just purchased a second hand NebV2. The front USB is totally non-responsive. I have tried 4 different USB sticks but you can see that the lights are not responding/ showing loading (i.e turning aqua). However the USB on the Pi has loaded new firmware and samples with no problems. Has anyon...

Doepfer Darktime reset via midi

I am using my Machinedrum to clock Darktime. I would like to reset Darktime from the MD. This can be done by using a GND-IM or a Trig Sample routed to an output then to the reset in on the Darktime. It works but the sync has a delay. Is it possible to send a midi reset to the Darktime from the Machi...

Delptronics Triggerman: Change tempo pot

Love my Triggerman module but have I find the tempo pot way too loose and sometimes accidentally knock it around when patching. I would like to replace it with a stiffer pot. Has anyone done this? It is a simple enough job with the exception of the daughterboard being actually soldered in place so a...

Hey Doug - have you checked to see if the 5V jumper is set correctly? PEG can use its internal 5V or the PSU's depending. Fingers crossed it is just that. I just got a (used) PEG today that isn't functioning at all. I'm not sure what is wrong with it. Both the cycle buttons are yellow when they're b...

Yes- I have done that before! Triggerman is one of the modules I always have to refer to my cheat sheet for just in case! No way I can remember it all. Good result then. :guinness: Checked with a jacklight I should have done that... but not sure it would have helped because I was in a different mode...

Just had a look at mine and yes it works as described. Checked with a jacklight and into an oscillator 1v/oct. No discernible difference between 'on' steps.

Definitely check the power supply first. I see you have tried a different case so maybe it is another issue but mine was acting basically the same when I got it. An upgraded power supply fixed it. Well I should say a 'correct' supply as the original was not handling all the modules attached to it.

Yeah - the only dicky thing on an otherwise great module. However on the glass half full side - it makes unpatching way easier - well at least from Distings.:)

Re: 4ms QPLFO problems?

Just an idea - my PEG when I first got it was being weird like that. Turns out my power supply was at it's limits. Fixed when I upgraded the supply. Have you added any other modules that might be sucking up some extra juice lately? Greetings Wigglers, I'm wondering if anyone else has ever experience...

Howdy - I have had this module for a few weeks now and it is awesome. I can't go into a long reply now - at work :) - but meanwhile from the Toppobrillo website:- "In "Chord Mode", a control source (sequencer, etc.) is quantized to the nearest semitone value [1/12V] within a 5 octave range; 2 other ...

Great. Thank you very much. Scary! I should have titled my post a bit better as well. I did contact the manufacturer of the PSU so hopefully some feedback there as well. Grounding issue with new case?

I have just finished a new 9U case and packed it to the brim with modules. All working correctly but I noticed that I am getting a buzzy feeling if I slide my finger on any module panel. This disappears if I connect to an external mixer rather than using headphones. It has an Elby supply with an iso...

Cool - now that is what I call portable! This seems to be the main case thread, I think -- adding my post here. I just finished my case build -- It includes a 1u row on the bottom. The whole thing just barely fits into the case. I had to cut a lot of metal on the case and the rack rails to get it in...
