Re: Vacuform - Vacuum tube diode SVF

Looks like the last few inquiries went unanswered, but I'd love to get a full euro kit if any are still available :guinness:

I think that's the only interface I've ever seen with 16 line ins. Another way to do it would be an interface with 8 line ins and lightpipe to get another 8 from something like a Tascam Series 8p Dyna.

Re: Recreating an Analog Four voice in Eurorack

I think a good way to approach this would be to ask what it is that you don't like about the Elektron A4 that's making you want to recreate it in euro instead of going with the original. The voice architecture is pretty generic (like rew_ above, I don't mean that in a bad way, but there doesn't seem...

DIY Clock Divider/Multiplier?

I've been searching high and low, but I can't seem to find a DIY module that does both clock division and multiplication. Yes, Synthrotek has the M/DIV, but he's a twat, and I'm not too fond of 4hp modules that cram jacks/switches/knobs in so tightly, anyway.

I have a dual linear supply in my Monorocket MX6 12u suitcase and the Metropolis noise may even be worse than what some of you are describing in your cheapo switching systems, so it sounds like what Mr. Hinton is saying is absolutely true. With nothing patched but an output from two of my filters (E...

5v Supply?

I can't seem to find any of the 5v supplies that plug into the connectors on bus boards, other than the Mutable which no one seems to have in stock. I know I had one in my first case 10ish years ago but don't remember who made it. Any suggestions? I've been searching high and lo. DIY or prebuilt. My...

Keep in mind that this is happening to all XT/k power supplies and since they die COMPLETELY when they f...

Can someone please tell me if this has the same flimsy plastic construction of the other Airas, including the original TR8? I've searched far and wide and haven't been able to find a single mention of its construction.

Line Mixer w/ 8 Total Outputs?

Anyone know of a line mixer with effects inserts and a total of 8 outputs that can be grouped (most likely 4 stereo sub groups)? Long story short, I'm looking to use my pedal board on an insert or two, all of the inputs on my UA Apollo (8 total), and be able to route/group the channels relatively fr...

Does it have to be new as in brand new with a warranty? If not, I can't possibly recommend the Microwave XT more, especially if it's the programmability that bothers you with the original Microwave. The XT is mostly knob per fader (though there are menus for complex routing options and such) and has...

None of those that I've checked out have optical ins, and I need one of those for the output from my TV.

How are you liking that Akai TomCat that I sold you, by the way? Is it as shitty as you hoped for? :hihi:

I found this, which people seem to love in reviews for under $100 shipped, but now that I'm looking at it a little closer, I don't understand the analog input section at all. Why are its RCA inputs specified to speakers positions? I read most of the manual and that doesn't really explain it.

Oh, in this case I mean passive in the sense that there wouldn't be amperage in the audio outs, not passive in its overall circuitry.

Do any of these preamps exist for under $600? Considering that they're literally no different than a receiver MINUS the power amp section, and receivers start at around $150, you'd think there'd be a ton of cheap ones, but I've searched high and low, and the damn things don't seem to exist.
